Paddling the Credit River - Streetsville to Port Credit

Jut a few GoPro clips from a recent paddle down the Credit River, from Streetsville to Port Credit. The water levels were just starting to drop after the recent floods, where they peaked at nearly 5.45.
We're paddling in an Esquif Blast tandem whitewater canoe, and were accompanied by 7 kayakers.

Nice run. Good reads on the downstream vees. The water appeared a bit muddy but I assume that was due to the rain from the storm you mentioned. Just ran across it. Thank you.

My brain of a brother in-law took us rafting here in the late 80's. I was 8 years old .. Our rubber raft flipped almost died. After that fun couple of our we had to walk all the way back to Meadowvale with no shoes lmfao

Are u able to get on further up?

Yes it's certainly possible to run from further up, though Streetsville is where I've always launched from for whitewater paddling. We've done the upper section from Inglewood to Terra Cotta in the winter, but that's mostly flatwater with only a few small rapids.

I know there is a dam at erindale park, what did you guys do over there?

Amazing video dude! Just kayaked the Credit but haven't yet ventured past Streetsville. Btw, what is the song? It's catchy!
