When my parents first moved out to Los Angeles we lived in a trailer that was parked between two houses. The other kids didn't ever talk to me. I'm glad we didn't stay very long.
For our 25th anniversary our daughter wanted to give us an RV for when my husband and I traveled, but my memories of living in a trailer were too strong. We did get a beautiful van which we both enjoyed being on the road. Miss those days.

That dissonance is what has made me want to create a horror movie with a laughter track. After watching From Dusk Till Dawn and not knowing anything about what the film was about I was inspired and wondered what it would have been like with the Friends cast having to take on a similar journey whilst having their laughter track. No matter how dark and dire things get for the protagonists, the audience still laughs in exactly the same way. In my head that plays out as unnerving.

As someone whos lived this life and has moved on to a career, I will say its harder than ever to even find housing for people right now. We are truly blessed to have shelter and food, for so many go without 🙏
Such a sweet man. Met him years ago in Toronto. Just at a small store , he smiled at me in the same sweet shy way.
He directed a movie in Detroit and went to a bunch of restaurants and bars in the area where I knew many owners and servers-every single person who interacted with him said he was incredibly nice and appreciative of their service ✨

Well both yes and no. Truth is everyone deserves their long term spots, partners and circumstances. But everyone could get unlucky or have it very tough sometimes. Humility, smart work and attitude make a lot of difference.

I love his sense of humor. I have also lived in a trailer. I guess you could say I still do because that's what they call modular homes. It's so pretty though. I have it on a full basement and I have a half acre with a pole barn. I started out with a HUD house and worked my way up and now I'm retired and I am a homeowner. My house is paid off!!! 42 years of a mortgage.

I never thought about a class system. I educated myself to just create a career. But faced a lot of discrimination as a divorced woman.
For instance, I attempted to join a walking group to network not knowing they were SPECIAL people. Just saw an ad. Dave knows the group. He was there. His girlfriend backpedaled to where I walked thinking I showed up there knowing who was in the group. She let me know HE was hers. IT WAS MY GD HOMETOWN THAT I RETURNED TO NOT REALIZING IT WAS HOLLYWOOD NE.
These SPECIAL people booted me out of my hometown and the town in upstate NY where I had lived with my ex and went to college after my divorce.

This is why I like Ryan Gosling. Humble beginnings and he remembers what it was like.... talks about it.... has a great sense of humor about many different topics. I bet he treats waiters and waitresses very nicely. You can picture that about him (or guess this even if you never saw him tip).

I too lived in a trailer park..single with extension trailer. I had the "room" that was a portion of the extension. Now I think back and think of my room as the Harry Potter stairwell closet
I love this. We lived in a single wide for awhile also. No extension though, but our wheels were off. The trailer is actually still there and it was from the sixties when we lived in it. That’s bragging rights there. 😜
