Are you still doing this kind of work? You seem passionate and I'd be comfortable running an upgraded turbo you built. Custom power is always the best power. What's somethin like this run?
can you do a machine job using the 67mm wheel for a 1994.5-1997 7.3L powerstroke compressor housing and plate. if I use the kit you have already I would have to change pedistal, bearing housing, and I'm not sure the T4 mounting flanges would line up with the newer pedistal since the 1999-2003 trucks had the clamp on style exhaust. just wondering if you could maybe use the housing and wheel you have already designed and modify a plate to work for the older bearing housing.
+Marinus de Dreu I'm currently sold out of those covers, I found out that it does not fit the 94-97 turbo because the bearing housing oring difference. I can machine the stock cover. There is an upgraded cover for the 94-97 I have 1 but I don't have the matching plate
interesting how some components between Mitsubishi and Kia share parts. i remember my lower ball joint was badly worn, cracked rubber so the grease will not hold. surprisingly Kia sold me just the ball joint when Mitsubishi told me they only sell the lower control arm with a new balk joint. Mitsubishi has been having some unfortunate success. they really need to improve their EV line of cars rather than sell cars from more sexier dealerships.
I was a Hyundai tech in the 90s, back in the day Hyundai used a lot of Mitsubishi parts to include engines and transmissions. To be honest, not until Hyundai started developing their own power-trains did they start to shed their reputation for being cheap and unreliable.
Your turbo is sure better doing its job, maybe you increased your power with 5 or 10 horse power. But now it's fragile. it may broke by the turning heat (in the long terme). tell me about it. And if you boost a lot, i think you've already change it.
P Dog lmao 😂 That is true but be grateful hes dropping this knowledge because hes obviously a master of his trade.. there aint much at all to turbos so if u needed him to explain anymore about them than what he did you should def read up some more on them ;) Good video, whats your business name etc? Incase you do any other side work
always great to see your work

Nice work! What would be the cost of this? And also turn around time.
What a finish
