House of Fear 1939 Mystery Thriller

After an actor is killed during the middle of a play the theatre is closed. A year later a young producer re-assembles the cast and re-opens the theatre, intending to the stage the same play performed on the night of the murder.
Starring William Gargan, Irene Hervey and Dorothy Arnold.

I LOVE to find Tom Dugan in the credits! He could have easily replaced Curly with the Three Stooges.

Entertaining movie,and one actress reminded me of Meryl Streep in physical appearance. The storyline was reminiscent of a another movie,made in the 1940's. Irene Hervey was Jack Jones mother.Thank you,for showing this film.
