Learning to “let go” is still one of my favorite lessons learned. Control is beneficial for general direction in life, but can be a toxin causing unnecessary anxiety. Breathe. Let go. "Life is subject to change.” The difficulty in the lesson is the simplicity of it. Like the simplicity in having faith that Jesus is the Christ, but for some reason mustering up faith is difficult. In the same way letting go of control is like putting faith in God and His plan. If you have faith that all things work out for the good of those that love Him, and in Him are only yes and amen, then it would help aid letting go of control. Because realistically nothing is in your control. Similarly life is like kayaking down a white water rapid. You can somewhat dictate the direction your kayak will go, but the river ultimately makes the decision for you. People get cancer, fall out of love, have a spouse die, lose their children, become paraplegic/quadriplegic, lose their livelihoods, etc etc, and there’s nothing we can do. So what then? Control is a lie. Probably created by Satan. The lie is found in the illusion of comfort. Because eventually that comfort dies. People don’t do well with death of any form, but especially when their “comfort” dies. The only thing that makes the most sense is to allow God to dress us and feed us and trust in the Holy Spirit, our comforter. (I know you know this verse..) “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. I have been going around the past traumas I have experienced rather than going through it in order to properly heal. Not sure how to address that but looking up is a good place to start. Have you tried Pastor John Hagee's church in San Antonio? You can't get a better preacher/Bible teacher than he is. I am sure they have all sorts of groups/ outreaches for a person to get involved with. Just an idea---

Asking for prayers! God please forgive me, soften my heart, take away my desires, forgive me for being so angry, frustrated and rebelling, please direct my steps in faith. I feel overwhelmed and ashamed. Please forgive Me. I feel so stuck! And stifled! I am in a moment when I feel paralyzed by stress pressure and unhealthy control and involment in my life. Please 🙏 nothing I do seems to be working in my life. Gonna get my top button right my book open and walking in faith. Every time I feel lead to a certain door I feel it's closed. Almost like I'm supposed to stay in my apartment. I'm feeling attacked and confused and I don't feel like this kind of control is unhealthy. This is not your own doing!!!!! God please give me grace through faith! Feeling attacked. When I leave my home people are placing dog shit in my living room. I'm feeling so many negative attacks right now. I am a child of God. I pray you'll feel God's loving arms and guidance through this rough patch you are going through. God has promised never to forsake us Joshua 1:5. He is trustworthy, He proved His love and desire to see us well on that cross! Whatever you've done wrong He will freely pardon when we ask 1 John 1:9, and give His angels charge over you Psalm 91:11-12, He is right there with you through all Psalm 9:10, Isaiah 43 and will never forsake you. I pray He opens your eyes and makes His Presence known in Jesus Name

Why does that matter?!? We all are one in Christ. He is speaking the truth in love. And we receive it! Amen hallelujah. What would it be like if we all stopped making things devices to divide? If we are children of god. Our job on this earth is to reveal and reflect the father and the son! So that his love flows out of us and the children of wrath see it and WANT IT! If we are so distracted by the crap in the world that we think we need to have a say in judging it, we are no longer focused on our main job - love god and love others!
