I hardly think anyone would be sick of you. You are a sweet ray of sunshine! I am going to share these meals with our daughter. They just had their third child a month ago, via a C-section. She lovingly tends all our grandchildren, always tries to help others and like you, wants to feed her family well. A few simple meal ideas I am sure will be especially welcome just now. By the way, that puff pastry pie dish looked beyond wonderful! Well done! Take good care of yourself, sweet Vickie.

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by! Just a few thoughts i've had since uploading the video & some tips you guys have shared:
    1. If you are struggling to find fresh beef for the pie/stew, you could substitute with tinned corned beef. It won't hold it's shape and will be more of a smooth texture but the flavour will still be great and it would work well. Tinned stewed steak is another idea if you can get it!
    2. For the chicken tacos, you could use tinned beans instead of chicken, any would work, kidney beans, butter beans, chickpeas, even baked beans!
    3. Tinned tuna would work in the mozzarella pesto dish & if you can't find mozzarella then you could add a little cream cheese instead.
    4. One of you suggested Miso paste instead of marmite in the pie if you are not a fan!
    5. If you can't find condensed milk then evaporated milk is supposed to be a good substitute if you add sugar (around 200g to one tin) then bring the two to the boil stirring continuously and remove from the heat to cool. (I haven't tried this but it might be worth a try!)
    6. If you have any, a handful of walnuts, chocolate chips or raisins would work really well in the banana bread (just add them to the batter)
Hope this helps, any more tips, keep them coming and I can add them here!

Hello everyone, great vids, I enjoyed them alot, thanks!
Couple of tips from my own experience: Try slow cooking any meat or veggies or stew with no water, you will be surprised how much liquid comes out, also the timing of most meals on high setting takes about 3 hour to cook based upon the meal volumes shown in this video.
The wonder of slow cookers is that it is very difficult to spoil or over cook anything, even if one cooks for 5 or 6 hours as mentioned in this video, no problem, it all comes out fine and is very forgiving.
Another important tip: DON'T TAKE OFF THE LID WHILE COOKING, Every time you lift of the lid you need to add extra half hour on to cooking time because you will release the steam pressure and let in cold air.

Hi Victoria I love your what’s for dinner videos, another pie you can make is with filo pastry, either use left over roast chicken and add it in to your pie dish and soften some finely chopped onion in a little oil a good tablespoon or a good nob of butter it sounds a lot but this the bases of you pie filling, once the onions are nice and soft about 5 to 7 min, add in a good tablespoon of plain flour to make a roo then slowly add chicken stock till you have your desired thickness and season to taste if you are using un cooked chicken brown the chicken when you cook the onions but personally we prefer it with the leftover roast chicken, put you filling into your dish thin tare the filo pastry into pieces no need to be neat as you roughly scrunch the pastry up and place in the top of your pie until the whole pie is covered the spray the the pastry all over with cooking spray of your choice and bake on 180 or the equivalent till the pastry is lovely and golden and crispy we serve it with home made potato wedges and vegetables.

Just watching this, possibly again (I have an appalling memory…it has got worse as I’ve got older) I hate to confuse you even more! And you stick to the way you pronounce it, but it’s actually pronounced choritho…I have a Spanish friend! 🙄 Question, does the bread taste of ripe bananas? It looks wonderful but I only like bananas just as they turn from green to yellow, with no brown marks. Just finished watching the whole video, I don’t think I have watched before 😮‍💨 No one could ever get fed up with you! Those recipes all look delicious!
