    I have a 509 Delta V commander helmet. I will be installing the mount on the shield to have it placed on the chin area. Time to see how it holds up.🤞🏽

    Mounted mine to an HJC RPHA 1N and its soo much more solid then the chin nounts unit that fell off after a week.

    I've used these on a bunch of my helmets and have ridden everywhere from rainy PNW to the heat of Moab and even after all these years the mount is still strongly connected to the helmet. Much better than Chin Mounts which only lasted a few weeks before falling off.

      Wow, my mounts have travelled to more scenic places than I myself have haha. That's awesome to hear it's withstood the elements for so long and on so many trips. Thanks for sharing!

    Just mounted mine on an Answer AR1 off-road helmet and even with the more aggressive chin geometry, so far so good. I took my time with the forming and prep. Can't wait to get some riding in this weekend. Great product!

      Wow, never seen that helmet before - but you're right that is a pretty aggressive chin. That squared off front part looks perfect for the center of the mount to rest and the arms to wrap down either side.
      Love that you took the time to get it perfect, thanks for sharing that! Safe riding!

    I purchased this mount over a year ago while searching for a mount for my modular Shoei Neotec 2. I even did a video review on it. A couple of things I would suggest to improve on the already awesome design.
    1 instead of the extension, make it a one piece J Hook design (like the gopro, only fixed,not detachable) it would be a lot cleaner looking.
    2. Lose that round chrome hexcap on the end where the thumb screw goes, and use the newer flat design (again like the newer Gopro ones)
    3. Needs better adhesive. After a few months, some gaps started to appear, but have not gotten worse yet.
    All in all, except for the minor gaps in the double sided tape (yes, I did use the primer) it is in my opinion the best mount on the marker, not just for modular, but for all full face helmets. It covers more surface area that the gopro mounts spread out over more surface of the helmets, and simply mounts where most can't.
    I will likely purchase again, but would love to see an updated model.

      I love this feedback., I always take constructive criticism well and use it to make improvements. Here's where I'm at now: I'm wrapping up a new batch now that replaces the center steel plate with more of a steel wire outline. The steel plate is very springy and wants to pull away and back to its original flat shape, I think this is why the gaps formed as well. This new design is super malleable and doesn't build up tension after forming, so it stays more to shape and the adhesive isn't working overtime trying to keep it close. Regarding replacing the extension with a J hook, my goal was to always keep this as slim as possible, however, you're right, some people just want to pop on one screw and go. Instead of replacing the entire design with a J hook, I have been considering making a release system so you can choose which extension you want. It'll take some engineering, money, and time but it could be my next project as I'm continually improving this design when I can. Lastly, on the hexcap, I think that's a sound idea, it's always just been easiest to source the current ones off the shelf because they were the most produced ones when I originally created this product. If I can source newer ones and make changes to the molds, I definitely will try. The molds may not be changeable though, so I'll have to look into that.

    How long should we let the mount be on the helmet before taking it out for a spin?

    • @motoradds
      @motoradds  2 місяці тому +2

      You're good to go as soon as it's mounted! I've thrown mounts on my helmets dozens of times. I don't give it any curing period, I start using it immediately, and I've never had an issue.

    Hey I also got gummi bears and they're not in the tutorial, what do I do with them? help!
    Jk lol excellent product mate thanks for shipping it all the way to Greece. They screwed me over at the customs here, had to go get it from their offices but its all worth it. First good chinmount that doesn't drop off after 1 hour of riding heh.

    • @motoradds
      @motoradds  3 місяці тому +3

      For the gummies:
      1) Carefully pinch the top of the wrapper and apply pressure downward, this will peel open the wrapper.
      2) Select the most appealing coloured bear in the bag and gently pick it up.
      3) Pop it in your mouth and munch and swallow.
      4) Repeat for the remaining bears.
      Sorry to hear about the customs charges. We are trying hard to get our OSS certifications so EU customers don't need to be liable for customs charges.
