I was born and grown in 'Trench Town to age 18 1/2 years old. Jamaica has produced a massive amount of singers but to me Slim Smith IS the best 'Male Tenor' we've brought to the public's attention. My idol Slim Smith has been and still is the best I've ever heard. He's simply an 'Icon'ic Legend'. The next best was my cousin 'Robert 'Bobby' Newby but he never recorded.
