My husband and I are homeless and live in a little yurt with a wood stove. We're in Maine, United States and its getting cold. We are on a constant adventure trying to keep warm and clean. Your videos bring me so much joy and I thank you for sharing them!!❤😊😊
Wow🤩this landscape is incredibly beautiful ! Your life is fullfilled with amazing adventurous explorings & i love your cooking with range from super tasty to ok lol !😋👍i like seafood so much, i am envious, you can eat as much as you can catch✌Thanks Strick&Fran fantastic video💙!💙
My mom and I watch your videos nearly every weekend, and though we may not have scenery like this, it’s so beautiful that we get to experience this through you both sharing this content. So grateful for what you share. Much love all the way from Baton Rouge, Louisiana! 💗💗🫶🏽
I would love to see a video describing the boat you are using for this journey, and even more importantly, all of the supplies you've brought to survive in the wild for four months. 🙏🏻
It is, it’s is nice for you to share it with us because I’m an Aussie that grew up with this and now live in london, whenever I get the itch, you guys scratch it for me!
We did indeed get out on our own adventure today. Packed up the kiddos and hit the beach in Corpus Christi, TX. My oldest daughter (9) was dead set on catching a fish by hand. 😂 Love watching your videos!
Hi you guys when I seen Corpus Christi crop up well my father’s friend came from there after the Second World War my father was a welder and he work in The middle east with the Americans and I was named after him and his name was Frank Marshall from Corpus Christi and my name Marshall Mackenzie from the City of Glasgow in Scotland / United Kingdom 🇬🇧. and it’s just something that always sticks in your memory. Oh well folks love from us in Scotland 🏴👍🥃
Hey you two , another fine episode . I wouldn't hesitate to say " thank goodness for the mackerel " . By the way you talked " the cabinets were bare " . Looking forward to the next episode .
I am watching you guys for a while now I am in Scotland 🏴 and it’s raining so it’s so nice to watch you guys fishing as that’s my game as I fly fish for Atlantic Salmon, brown trout and sea trout all lovely to eat , I do have quite a few relatives that live in Australia and I keep in touch with them on the internet and when I see these beautiful islands that you visit and sleep on it’s just a blast so keep up with the amazing work you guys do and love from all of us in Scotland 🏴🥃❤️👍🎣
Just spent 2 days sailing for my first time. 1st day pretty scary, flying along heeled over 45° stuff flying all over the cabin! 2nd day made sure things were stored properly but we only had a 5 knot wind, very pleasant. Thought of you guys!
Excellent job of not cussing on camera when you lost that first fish. Pumpkin and soy sauce??? Never heard of that combo before. WoW! Nice mackerel! You make mouth watering meals from just the basics. I get hungry just watching you prepare the fish. Another very entertaining video, thank you and keep up the good work.
You guys are fantastic. Love you to bits. Can’t believe the amazing drone footage that you captured on the Orca attack. So humbling and so sadly disturbing yet awesome nature shots and the humpback that studies you for an hour!! What an experience. Goes so far beyond my bucket list. So thank you. . If I could trade places with you guys I would at any time. You make it look so good and incredibly exciting. I have a b&b in Amsterdam. If you’re interested in a European trip one day, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Rich and Thea Anglo -Dutch
Wow , you crew are getting so close to 1M subs, mind blowing. Reward for all the hard work you put in! Loved the video, the stuff you see is amazing. Jack, thanks for making my day when you dropped the fingermark. I showed the clip to my wife who was mad, and explained that I hadn't done that to her, so she should be very happy with me. 👌. Cheers for sharing the adventure, Dive safe, have fun! 🤣🐟😁👍🍻
I've noticed a lot of foreign countries call any gourd a pumpkin, but we have a name for everything, and pumpkin, which is just another variety of gourd, is called, "pumpkin." lol (USA)
In Australia, it's called a Butternut Pumpkin, squash for us is a lot smaller, roughly the size of a closed girls fist. Australia really doesn't celebrate Halloween. but people have been starting too, over the last couple of decades.
amazing how those ancient fishtraps were used exactly is the same way in other parts of the world. Where I stay in South Africa our local university discovered them and they believed to be a few thousand years old
Guys...love your videos. They are objective, they are directed toward survival, and the two of you make them amazingly fun...from the need to capture to cook; I believe that was and is your objective. In the meantime, you two are the quintessential couple that pulls it off well (as long as you stay on the water). In any event, you introduced yourselves on one video, but you don't seem to like to let people really know your credentials...please! In your written introduction...list your (brilliant) qualifications. You are not just two beach bums who decided to travel. You are two extremely qualified academians! Come on...list your qualifications daily...be proud. The followers will find out, one day, that you😊 aren't just two beach bums!?* God bless you two; your channel is brilliant, as it teaches as well as entertains. duck.
Here in Florida, I grew up eating alligator, and I always wonder why you guys never eat crocs. Gators are usually best for food in the 3-5 foot range generally. We have crocs here, but they're more rare, so we don't eat them. I imagine they wouldn't taste much different, except for that the crocs do frequent more salty waters generally. Alligator and iguana are both fantastic tasting, too!
Are they in Indonesia now? And, gators are protected in Florida too, but they are in EVERY body of water, and people farm them as well. I also imagine indigenous people get a pass, or subsistence living in the wilderness, but... Laws are different everywhere, eh? @@acitizen.5276
Sun, fun, fish, sand, water and a Bikini Model worthy partner who is into all of it with you. I’m a little old but......I think they say these days ....that you are killing it!
Greetings beautiful couple of couple of youturbes from Argentina, here we also have good fish in Argentina and in the rivers are also very good fish and rich as for example the surubi, the voga, Armed, and the dorado.🙋♂️🇦🇷
Interesting video, I liked the drone shots of the topography, more underwater & spearfishing please. Tandaco make a herb/spice flour that you can dust or batter your fish/crayfish with; can pick it up @ Coles or Wollies. I use it to dust my crayfish pieces with. Verrry nice! Add some balsamic vinegar to that olive oil as it knocks out the sugar spike from the rice & forms a nice dressing.
Strick, your Spanish mackerel is really called a Narrowbarred mackerel, because the real Spanish mackerel are only found in the Western Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico and they have bronze or yellow spots, they don't have stripes, and the world record for the Spanish mackerel is 13lbs or 5.89kg, the Narrowbarred mackerel that you catch in your videos is only found in tropical and warm temperate waters of the Indian and Pacific oceans and the world record for Narrowbarred mackerel is 99lbs or 44.906 kilograms , a much bigger fish than the real Spanish mackerel , but still a nice fish , keep the great videos coming, love you guys.
Loving the Great Adventures. Fran is an excellent fisherwoman, boat captain, cook, and lifetime companion.
Thanks so much Richard 😊🙏🏼

Love your videos. Such a variety of scenes and wildlife. Fran's cooking and sense of humor are great!
Strick you are 100% right about how nice it is to not have a solid itinerary. I love trips where I have time to explore little out of the way areas.
Just spent 2 days sailing for my first time. 1st day pretty scary, flying along heeled over 45° stuff flying all over the cabin! 2nd day made sure things were stored properly but we only had a 5 knot wind, very pleasant. Thought of you guys!

13:59 That fish with the blue spots looks very much like a kelp greenling from British Columbia.
Even in a nylon jacket, Frannie is beautiful!
Love the fish trap we have them here in the States also so cool
Trying to catch the mantis shrimp was my favorite. Whispering while trying catch it was absolutely funny 😊

at 2:57 a landing net would have been a good tool. Why do you not use a net? Do we need to start a kickstarter for you?
