Lol came here to comment this. The fuck was that reset. He held his knee after cole shucked it over his head from double unders... if anything that was a verbal tap....
I think he just conveniently got injured once he knew his guard was getting passed. What medical staff is going to let you go on unless you’re just buying yourself time.
The fact that this kid is friend and trains with Gordon Ryan and Danaher as well, shows that there is someone in his surrounding making very smart choices for him. AOJ for Gi Training and Danaher for No-Gi training, is there a better combination?
@@radoslavtodorov6923 Melqui maybe but not for him, he already have a good relationship with Mendes so no one could be better for him, I don't think B team aligns with his style, at least not better than Danaher (my opinion).
I was going to say this. Imagine being as good as Cole already is PLUS having the cheat code of that cornering too. Incredible. Future of Jiu-jitsu is very exciting.
The final showed that he is not 100% dominant, but he is not alone. Cole is the favorite to be champion in the brown belt in the Worlds, and in the black belt he will not have an easy life. Oss!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

he just turned 18 and got his brown belt last month. he needs to hold the brown belt for a minimum of one year before getting his black belt per IBJJF guideline
Got a slight "calasan" style about him in his presents on the mat, AOJ are (in my opinion) the best team right now taking kids from white belt and making them high level champions also with great values off the mats, its easy to take a person thats already an amazing athlete and competitor and tweek them to be slightly better but to tale a kid from a child to a man and make him a champion is very difficult.
why the heck was that guy allowed to keep fighting? since when can you stop the amtch cause your in pain, then decide nah im good lets start back from a better position?
Judo is a highly detailed sport that wears a gi and not everyone understands the intricacies but when they have large events the places are packed. BJJ has to figure it out. This crowd makes no sense. And before someone comments about it being for brown belt the black belt division won't be much better. No Gi does better with crowds but it just doesn't add up when compared to Judo. I thought BJJ would grow and get to where Judo is as time went on but the opposite has happened and the crowds have gotten smaller.
judo is an olympic sport. also, judo is not nearly as complex as jj, throwing people around is something most people understand with no need to know the intricacies of the sport
