You may have seen a trailer or review, but this playthrough will feature my impressions, reactions, and commentary throughout 100% of the full game including the ending! TOAD TOWN'S IN TROUBLE
Mario and Luigi receive an invitation from Princess Peach to attend an origami festival and excitedly hurry to Toad Town…but something’s amiss. After investigating the eerily empty town, the duo finds a fearsome (and folded) Princess Peach-she’s been turned into origami by King Olly, self-proclaimed ruler of the Origami Kingdom! With five giant streamers under his control, King Olly binds Princess Peach’s Castle and transports it to a distant mountain as part of his plan to re-fold the world.
To take on these folded fiends, Mario will have to learn some new fighting skills. Face off with the Folded Soldiers in ring-based battles where you strategically line up enemies to maximize damage. Out of battle, Mario can use the arm-extending 1,000-Fold Arms ability in specific spots to interact with the landscape to pull, peel, hit, and more! Using the unique properties of paper, help Mario unfold new paths, explore vast environments, unlock the secret of an ancient ruin, brave the raging rapids, step out on stage, visit a string of islands, appear on a quiz show, and even participate in a mid-air battle!

"SORRY MARIO, EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF!"
Hi there Zack - this is a bit of a lengthy comment, but here are a few VERY important things to keep in mind as you progress through the game that may prove to be beneficial. I’ve tried to list them in order of importance; in fact, the first point has done wonders for my personal playthrough. (Also, liking this comment to ensure he sees it would be of much help!)
1. VERY, VERY, VERY CRUCIAL: Make sure you’re consistently using attack items like the fire flower! They can come in really handy when you don’t have the right weapon, and they do a ton of damage so they can also come in quite useful for boss battles.
2. ALSO VERY IMPORTANT: Regarding confetti - don’t worry about accidentally wasting it. Any confetti that isn’t used to fill up a hole automatically goes back in your bag, so it’s basically impossible to waste it.
3. Make sure you visit all the accessory shops, especially the one in Toad Town, which I don’t believe you’ve visited yet unless you did it off-camera, and return there often for when accessories get restocked! And don’t forget to equip them. Do the same for item-weapon shops. In general, after each streamer, I’d revisit the different areas and buildings of Toad Town to see how it evolves.
4. A couple times throughout the walkthrough so far, you thought you didn’t have a weapon you bought or found, but you did - you just didn’t equip it. You can equip them DURING a battle too if you press “+” during the attack phase.
5. If you’re having trouble lining up enemies during battles, the ones with the “angry” sign above them USUALLY can be lined up together, and everything else will fall into place. The symbol itself means that those enemies will do more damage but it also comes in quite helpful for organizing the rings. If all else fails, line up by enemy type.
6. Regarding bosses: take advantage of sliding, not just rotating, to get the panels exactly how you want them. If you move them wisely you can basically move a panel to almost anywhere on the the playing field you want. Also, familiarize yourself with the different icons for bosses, like x2 damage or +1 Action.

In case you have not found the toad from 14:31 bell, you need to go behind the brown stairs and walk to the left. It will cut to the back side and there you will find that.
Also there is a collectible treasure in the fishing too. It will have sparkles around the “fish” to bring up! 😁

A little tip while battling. The enemies with a red X means that they are angry. Those will get the attack first and deal slightly more damage to you. If you see them attack those before they get the chance.

In an upcoming area, there is this photo booth where a picture of the captain of the red rescue squad from Color Splash hangs.
Also 3 Huey references from color splash in the tower. The can with the three toads on floor one, and the two pots in the kitchen have colored faces making expressions.
There’s a stack of toads behind the staircase on the top of overlook mountain where the bell was ringing a lot.

The last toad was on the outside part of the fence hanging over the ledge, right above were you get the bell
it took me 36 minutes to realise those drawings were from the boss pencils lol
If the Missile Maestro using the Rainbow Roll you have to do to grab the colored pencils with Mario’s hands.

I'm playing through this game in Japanese right now, and holy shit, the English translation is so much more fun.
