I have not read The Ritual but the booktok girlies are always going on about that series. Definitely doesn't sound like something I'd be into. Seems unnecessarily violent and degrading, etc. No thanks! Have you read Gothikana? It's a fairly easy read, you might like it. Dark romance-ish vibes.
I opted out of Ritual after I saw in Booktok a summary and that they have intercourse aside a dead body. No thanks. Adeline had at least story, this is just fucked up 😂

@@EllaKinkley yeah I feel like that series (the Lords) is just for shock effect and no actual plot. 🤷🏻♀️ I tried to read Birthday Girl by the same author of Credence and had to DNF (did not read) because I found the writing god awful and there were so many typos and grammar errors (my biggest pet peeve in books). I've heard about Credence though...have fun, LOL.

Fun fact - in Germany school bands are not a thing. At least not in my town or within my friends schools. But I was 10 years in an orchestra and played accordion before I learned Guitar, Piano, Drums and Violin and had singing lessons. Sooooo that not totally wrong 😬
