The sender sending a frame again because of no acknowledgement from the receiver even though the receiver actually received it. So now the receiver will again get the same frame only right? Then what will happen ?
@@sunyog so the receiver again didn't send acknowledgement to the sender this will let the sender send it infinite times it seems . Sorry if I'm confusing you 😂. Please carry on .

The ack is sent by receiver and is waiting for next frame. If the same frame is send again it discards, am i wrong or what.
I think it's better to say "acknowledgement is received late" in place of "timeout fires too soon" bcz timer is fixed rather ACK is actually late

Why is there need of receiving ACK as sender always triggers the frame at the timeout period.
After the timeout, it RETRANSMITS the frame....It doesn't send another frame
