My main gripe with this update is the lack of new Salt weapons. One new Salt weapon, that isn't accessible until AT LEAST NG+3, and two of the bosses are ONLY weak to Salty. I'm just kind of sick of the Salt Morning Star, tbh...
Salt is like the neglected child of the grounded elements. I guess cause Salt is not a candy so its like it's own thing.
i just wanted a salt staff!

Pepper/frosted flake looks awesome and katanas if they have the cool effects
old flipper counts as a robot weapon, so it is effected by mad scientist (an effect u can get on science cones)
mad scientist gives stacking buffs in combat, such as damage; attack speed; and crit chance
the sleek effect for the burg.l eyes makes the flipper have a 20% crit chance
pair that with coup de grass and trapper peep.r, along with other crit build related gear
it seems like joke gear, but it is unironically VERY strong
So one could per se use it against a boss
@@rockowlgamer631 yup, with some of the mantis gear for bleed crit and stun crit it can actually shred the mantis (i havent tested it past ng+1 and ng+2)
If I remember right it also counts as a mace/maul, so Barbarian I believe also works on it.

Just a note, the mint mace and all clubs do what's called general damage. So the broodmother isn't weak to the walepeno

Watching the burgles spare eyes bit in 144p was an experience
The Sour Katanga is play on the word tang, like a sour tang. So sour ka"tang"ga
Use the Pinch Wacker with the Mad Scientist effect on a cone and for armor use Broodmother helmet, Termite armor, and fire ant legplates
Mutations: Parry master, Coup de gras, trapper peeper, shocking dismissal, and for the last one I use natural explorer when i run around the yard but it could be whatever you want when you're fighting bosses
BTW if anyone likes the burgl gear you can upgrade them and then duplicate both for 9.7k raw science, so you don't have to pay 50k for unupgraded versions

so just a tip, if you like axes then give the scythe a go again since it somehow counts as both an axe and a dagger so gets buffed by chopper and assasin
You definitely should try any of katanas or brrathslayer with trinket with "samurai", if you get one, you'll like it
Frosted flake is fun, but i like running breathslayer with blademaster to weaken enemy attacks and fire and armor to weaken their defense. Now depending on the enemy i have a sword for each element, fire katana, sour katanga, breathslayer, and i put salty on antlion greatsword
@imcade if you have the mutations that summon minions they can be infused like mant or the spiderlings
Axes are definitely the new meta. The frosted flake obliterates the mantis despite it having axe resistance.
Chopper is a big part of what makes axes so good as it not only grants you more damage but also gets your stamina back so you don't need to use up a Mutation slot on anything Stamina-related like Cardio Fan or Parry Master
the sour axe had the highest base damage but was held back by how few enemies are weak to sour so it’s natural that changing the flavor alone would be a huge buff.
Its mostly because they´re copy paste of the Sour Axe. Stun build up was the whole Point of Sour when it was introduced.
So the Sour Battleaxe had of course a full Bar of Stun, even more than a Club.
The Fresh and Spicy shouldnt have that much Stun by a long Run, when they already counter so many more Enemys
coaltana and mint mace still feel like the best tier 3 elemental weapons, cool that you can basically have those two weapons in any elemental form now
yeahhhh snow flake instantly became my everyday weapon, its rediculous, an im genuinely grateful they added alt versions of the og weapons because now we can kill more effectively
@imcade, get the breathslayer too level nine, stay fresh, and do a power attack against the infected lady bug. You can almost two shot her with the power attack. Also, against the infected broodmother, its amazing
I feel like the fact that Cade is really good at grounded really surprises me with the infused broodmother. Even for myself to fight it took me far too long to beat, as it took 4 hours at LEAST. Have a had enough pain with Cade?
( They should also make more salty weapons)
I might be a little late for leaving a comment, but you can build inside the mantis arena right now, previously you couldn't but until they patch it you can
The purple bar with bufs is the bufs that influenced bugs have

Though about it while you fought the brood mother, you could try killing an infused infected version of it aswell as a challenge or something

I’m really sad that all the different variations of weapons don’t have any kind of special abilities, as that was what I was most excited about with this update

i love coming home from school and seeing a grounded video from imcade. first thing i watch every time i log onto youtube its became my routine
the great axe version of them all are the most OP
You can get science cones from black ox beetles. Also you can reroll bonus on random trinkets by duping them
The ant queen staff is pretty good against high heath enemies it seems like no enemy resists it damage
Cade you can grind the trinkets in a grinder
3:16 Clubs deal generic damage, not busting. Only hammers do busting.
@ImCade I have a question what's the best stuff to use to defeat the infected brood mother?
For your healing potion you should use soothing because it gives more health and if you use gum it heals over time
To get tier 4s you need to get it from a drop from the bosses like mantis, brood, wasp, infected, etc. idk if you need level 10 world but yeah.
It needs to be ng+4 or higher for bosses to drop Infused Weapons

Not sure if anyone has said this already or not, but according to the wiki if you upgrade the BURG.L goggles down the sleek path it gives a 20% crit chance boost to the BURG.L weapon.

How does your game pause fully when you go into your inventory/mutation tab? I’m in a solo world and it doesn’t do that for me
The frosted flakes is probably my absolute favorite weapon it's just awsome
So, there are two versions of the sour swords, mint swords, spicy mace, sour mace, mint axe, and spicy axe. I wish there was more of a difference between the new elemental weapons other than appearance. Also, maces do NOT deal busting damage. They deal generic damage.

Pick up all bugs because black oxes and stuff can give science cones and they are amazingly good I have one where when I kit someone with a katana i swing faster and if I get a 3 hit combo I swing faster I make my coaltana faster than the widow dagger

My mint mace upgraded 12 times pretty insane
The frosty flake plus a cone with implant weakness fresh and fresh damage up best absolutely SHREDS the IFB

also forgot to mention if you upgrade the burgl eyes the spatula become even better

You should try making a build for each of yhe new swords
Maybe try to upgrade the axes so the frosted flake and the sour battle axe bc theyre just currently the best in the game, I tried them and I just shredded through everything lol... would make me happy if you test them out on some bosses👍

when your using the dupper machine you can click space bar again and it will auto-matically do it faster
The Frosted Flake and Red Flake are the best weapons in the game in my opinion.

They buffed the mantis scythe if you take it down mighty it gives crit chance as well as crit damage it also attacks really fast so you can spam crits ps damage over times are the best right now so things like poison venom and bleed also best armor is one part fire ant one part broodmother and one part mantis or widow i recommend fire ant and mantis/widow is bulky but it doesn't matter too much but id always say sleak for the broodmother armor

Make a video about you battling every bug at once plus bosses with only your pebbles spear
sour is good for one boss its the Last Boss Bot fight in the Halloween bucket and even then you need blunt sour.
Spicy slash has been the most useful weapon so far for me but nothing compare to the mint mace damage and effect
Sour is good for the Assistant Manager and Director Schmector fights plus annihilates any of the bugs during the last defense event.
All that you got to do now is make the infected ant weapons in the next new game after you infect them with infected food.
One status effect im completely clueless about is the infection status effect it just seems to exist (i have the rusty spear by the way)
It reduces Enemy Damage by 10%.
I can recommend looking at the Wiki, really eye opening how pathetic or OP some Effects are.
You should defeat the broodmother by only being able to throw ONE of the mint axes you acquired in this episode. Have fun!

500+ hours and finally beat the game and I haven’t once came across any of these things. French fries, weapons
cade needs to upgrade the sour battle axe hes missing out, mother demon mask, fire ant chest and widow leggings with a battle axe is a insane damaging build
Cade i have a very good build for you it is the frosted flake the brood mother mask the fire ant chest piece and the assassin greives all sleek but assassin bulky
salty motherbrood mace is my fav go-to weapon for a lotta the newgame+ its so much better than the salt morning star
hey cade i think the whallepeno deals purely spicy damage like the mint mace dealing purely mint damage so the whallepeno is not as overpowered as you thought
Yeah, it's a common mistake for people to think that Clubs deal Busting damage, but they don't.

Make a armory and max the weapons and keep it as a war museum of some sort

Summoner combo (fire ant) with 4 thorns it murdered the infected brood mother in well one of its attacks it gets insta 1 shotted in NG+ (high one)

Hey Cade I just wanna help you by saying the mint mace and wallapino and sour mace are not busting they are just the element type they are
Have they changed it so you cant just stack stairs 1 after another
Take on a black widow with the sour sword
U should try killing the mantis with the frosted flake

Is the Breathslayer supposed to be a play on the Dragon Slayer from Berserk? The charged attack even looks like something Guts consistently does to his enemies.
