    I am rewatching. It is onion planting time in Texas. I am allergic to onions but I can grow them very well for family and friends.

    Thanks Robbie, these are the best instructions for planting onions. I haven’t been that successful with the exception of walking onions. Cheers!✨🌷💚

      Walking onions are the easiest thing to grow. But once you start growing the onions, you’ll see they’re fairly easy to and for some people sets work better than seedlings or starts.😊❤️

    Learned alot from your onion video, Robbie. Last years onion crop was replanted by our little gardener squirrels - tulle and all - in the middle of the lawn. 🤣 🥰

    Hi Robbie! Great video thanks for sharing! Your dog 🐕 loves broccoli 🥦 you can also grow your own garlic especially when in the house in a bowl they sprout out of the bulbs you can plant them in pots and probably dish pans too ! And they would grow !

    I had a beautiful start of onion sprouts growing and my dog decided to dig the dirt out of the container. I decided not to try again, but seeing yours from bulbs I may try again. I really would like to get some onions this year. Yours look beautiful.

    Great info on the onions. I'm going to try your chair and tote system, since I don't know much about gardening. Do you check the tote for food grade plastic... I think you talked about that...?

    • @RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy
      @RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy  Рік тому +2

      I do, but I will be honest most of the totes have been a 2 or 5 number and those are fine to be growing in, I have not seen a bad tote, yet as far as plastic to grow it❤

    Hi Robbie! I just saw Ryan Hall, Y'all on UA-cam. He shows a LOT of storms coming your way by middle to end of next week. I know you folks need the rain, but this may be a bunch! You may want to check his channel out for info. Be safe and stay well☺️ Kate M.

      I will check it out, we’ve had so much rain that you can’t even walk in the backyard where cars are parked it’s underwater. Hope it is lighter in rain this week, 😊 thanks

    Do you do anything to the tops to make the bulb grow? What kind of onion were those that you snipped the top off? We don't have much luck with the sets we've tried twice and they stay small.

    Does the onion tops need to be trimmed for the onion to bulb?

    Thanks Robbie. I've never had success growing from seed directly outside. I often forget about them. So I think I will try your way in containers so I can keep an eye on them. I've had great success with Dixondale starts though.

    how can I get rid of knats in my kitchen?

    • @RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy
      @RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy  Рік тому +2

      First, you need to find out why they’re coming in, and what they’re coming in for. But I’ve put a container with some food that they like in it, on the Kitchen counter and when they all go to that I put a cap on it and take them all outside.
