I was a baby we had VHS so I don’t remember much but I do remember falling asleep to my dads old ones and he would always put a blanket over me and I’d kick it off and i looked like that dude that got kicked on to a chair😂😂

It was often on TV when I was young around 20 years ago. Getting even with dad was often on TV too. The pagemaster and The good son were never on TV.

The fact that this movie was made at the Biltmore House in my hometown of Asheville, NC still astounds me til this day!

This is my favorite Macaulay Culkin film.
His chemistry with Jonathan Hyde made this movie.
Plus Hyde was hilariously as Cadbury especially when he broke out of prison.

No they would spoil it with way to much technology. Although there was 90s technology in this movies but we still love it. I think it should remain a classic.
I'd like to see a reboot if it ever happened but with a slightly different plot and villain, maybe Richie Rich's father is running for mayor, but the villain wants to win it first and destroy a park that belongs to the Riches.
I would love to see Macaulay return as an adult Richie Rich! And if he did, I'd love to be Richie's love interest, Kendra Sullivan, the daughter of the CEO and President of Sullivan Industries.
It does not matter how rich be your family. Nobody would host a McDonalds for the sake of convenience at their residence.

Back in 90s when movies were good non of this remakes and reboots
They used the Biltmore Mansion in Nashville, NC. My god when I saw that place in person. It’s got like 250 rooms and close to 130 THOUSAND sqft, and it was built in 1895 by George Vanderbilt, who built his fortune off of railroads, jeez I remember too much about that experience.
