They changed their idents in 2000 which was called the 'Infinite Circles-era' and was changed into a factual channel. It was closed in March 2002 in favour of its replacement, BBC4.

Hi, I can probably predict the answer to this, but do you have any of those long BBC Knowledge promos that used to air on loop before the channel launched, as well as in the early days? They aired usually when the channel had closed for the day. It was basically a mix of very short idents for TV Shows, mixed with random people saying "You're watching BBC Knowledge!"
