Let me provide some tips to get selected.
When you are standing infront of the judges:
1. fold your hands, say namaste, kiss the floor, lay flat on the floor in namaste pose, stand up when the judges say so
2. Introduce yourself and mention the following lines whilst crying:
-Mere mummy aur papa ka sapna tha
-Hum bahut gareeb hai ,train ka paise nahin tha
-Mein teen din chal ke aaya
-I want to make my guru proud
-Mera behin ki shaadi tootta
3. Be very nervous and insecure before you sing.
4. Sing.
5. You are selected, but act like you cant believe it.
6. Cry again
7. Repeat step 1, but replace saying namaste with thanking the judges, your mother and father, your sister, god, guru and Deepika
8. Cry and leave the room.
9. The show will have their editor add a sad piano/flute/violin melody to your story, you dont have to worry about that.
10. Feel free to pay me now and thank me later for the tips, or thank me now and pay me now for the tips.

You're right 'Discipline Wins Everytime' but the judges were suppose to judge on the basis of singing and all what they said was regarding his entry. Yes he was out of track not perfect. Poor guy must have thought to surprise the judges by his behavior his entry but that went wrong. I think these kind of reality judges must watch BGT where nobody is judged on the basis of their confidence.

To all the people commenting about his attitude or behaviour, let me tell you all about him first. He is from muzaffarpur, Bihar. He is one of my closest and oldest friends and I have known him for around 15 years. His behaviour is no where like this and he is very well mannered in real life.
This audition happened around 7-8 years ago. All this bullshit was scripted and he did this because at that time, he was an innocent kid and hence, he got trapped. He has also won multiple awards in singing at various levels.
PS:- These shows can damage anyone's identity by posting these scripted bullshit for TRP. They dont give a fuck about anyone's career or feelings. Please dont believe these scripted TRP hungry shows. 🙏🏼

looking at the comment section it is obvious Indian kids are taught to be humble in front of elders/gurus, this is the sole reason they fail when they are asked to be social in corporate and workplaces. Most of us shy away from conversations because of this, we lack social skills. this guy was just being himself and funny. His jokes were pretty harmless and even judges laughed but immediately Vishal turned around gave him a wrist slap for being confident infront of them. Yes, may be he was just average in singing but you can/should be allowed to be outspoken while you are at the stage. Most of the time judges want contestants to kiss their butt and tow their line. Humbleness is good but not for every situation.

He was a bit frank.. But the behavior of judges was weird. First they all supported and laughed at his funny jokes and then at last they started humiliating...Even the lady judge couldn't make her own decision going against Mr. Salim decision.

That young guy actually deserved to be given a chance to go to next round at least. Looks like these judges can't meet international standard of judging. You will see more drama from the judges than the contestents. I am sure there are better judges. These talented contestents have a dream and should be given a fair chance.

Well i see people commenting that the judges must only look at the voice and not the attitude but i dare to disagree here. these people who get selected will be represented on national tv and many more will take inspiration from them. So i think judges must always chose someone who is sober as well as a singer. Yes, i believe they were a little harsh in the end to the kid, but good for kid, i think it's an experience he will learn from. We all must strive to be better than we were yesterday.
