In the early days of Indian Idol, the bar was way low and all kinds of people made it to the second round and even further ahead. Now, it is much tougher even to get past the audition round. It is good for quality singers who get a chance to get ahead.
Yeah but this is the original one and nowadays people have lots of ways to learn anything … also currents seasons of Indian idol is scripted And the songs which contestants sing in the episodes are later on corrected in the studios and then telecasted .. I mean trp is given more importance ( in this competitive world) .. which was not needed in earlier years..
So earlier years always seem innocent and nostalgic and original and less show off

This popped up in my suggested videos. Was a nostalgic feeling when Indian music shows were actually about music. Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi and Shreya always judge contestants on the basis of their singing capability. Sonu even interrupted the contestant when he tried to put up an excuse.

The guy called rehan who sang kal ho na ho is no more ... he belongs from lucknow and used to sell cloths at aminabad market lucknow.. I met him arround 2014-16 and i recognised him and asked him why he couldn't improve his career in music and still selling cloths in this market even after came to indian idol, he said nothing happened after he eleminated from top 10 contestant , I was so sad after seeing him selling cloths again when he got a great singing skills. After 5 years post covid I searched him again at aminabad market and couldn't find him and ask couple of shopkeepers about him,one of him said he is no more, I got shocked and very sad.. I still wish that his death news is wrong but as that shopkeepers said i mentioned here.
Farrah is like she's thinking about what to say after each performance....like..."isse zyada to ratta nahi marke ayi kya neya kahu. Unki hi line boldeti hu...."
Farah khan may not have musical knowledge of sonu or Anu level but her all directed movies songs were super hits.
