my aunt used 2 have a chocolate lab named hershey & he wanted 2 be a lap dog too. when i met him in 2009 i pet him & he started climbing on my lap. i was like “uh ok” & he rooted on me. my aunt yelled at him 2 get off me but i said he was ok. she asked me if he was heavy & i said yes but i didnt care. all he wanted was 2 cuddle with me. she told me he was 90 pounds. a couple years later he was 100 pounds & still rooted on me. i usually let him sleep in bed with me when i spent the night too but there were a couple nights where he slept in a chair downstairs. my aunt told me he probably loved it. they never let him cuz he took it all up. she actually said i could have him if i wanted but my parents said he shedded too much :( he got a tumor on his side a few years later but he was ok 4 a little bit longer. it got infected & they had 2 put him down on june 25 2020 :( i miss him climbing on me when im over there now :(
We really love our dogs, and they love us back. It´s a wonderful thing.
