Just came across this song. Brings back wonderful childhood memories of attending mass with my parents. Although I haven't heard this song in years, isn't it amazing how music has the way of jogging our memories back to a certain place or time.
just came across this song I loved so much many moons ago! Delighted to discover it again. I have also been looking for another song/hymn, possibly from the same album. It goes: ..To be your body, to be your blood. Our hearts to mould [?] Lord to thine dear will ... to heal, to be broken, to heal again, to be your body to be your blood. Very grateful if someone can track it down
We just received this message: "Thankfully, my mother-in-law was able to get the chords for the guitar from the reference library. My husband and his friend played two guitars and his friend sang beautifully. I guess I should find a way to share just that clip from my mom’s funeral mass here, because it was sooooo lovely. I listen to this song often now." We're gratified to know that the song is still alive for many!
Yes indeed! I think it's a perfect mantra chant and perfect for a Surya Namaskar. The sentiment is awesome and universal!! A sentiment that can tie us all together. ^_^
I'm sorry to say that I do not. I'm surprised that Joe's music has become a bit obscure as they are terrific songs. Sorry for your loss. Perhaps you can play the video?

I learnt this song as a child in the choir and it has stuck since then. Glad to find it!

Would you want me to share the clip? I tried earlier, but I think my comment didn't save. I wasn't sure if that was ok since it's a full funeral mass.
Share the clip!
