redstarwraith, Thank you for your support! I have a friend who is a fan of David Lynch, especially his movies "Eraserhead" and "Elephant Man". ---Cynthia, The Audio Belle
Herb is great for sure. I wish the video was much longer, as he's a very charming, engaging individual that seems to have lived ten lifetimes! Cynthia, congrats and good luck with the channel. While attending Axpona I saw you on more than one occasion recording interviews in the wonderful diffuse natural light that the hotel's atrium offered. Good work, all the best.
FOH3663, It was actually about 30 minutes long and I cut it down. I should not have, I should have just posted the original. Here is the link to the raw unedited version, "Herb Unplugged": 1drv.ms/v/s!AtUDGCZt88czhBYuFIA6-AK87LaK?e=jDbg0i Come up and say hello at Axpona next year! ---Cynthia, The Audio Belle
Nice job. I love UA-cam concert videos as well. Like today I just saw Deep Purple Mark 1 singing Hush on Playboy After Dark probably late 1968. Not into their more popular later stuff but this song I’ve always loved. My brother saw them open for Cream in the fall of 68 and said Richie Blackmore blew away Eric Clapton that night.
Damian, I really like Ritchie Blackmore! I listen to his later band that he began with his wife. The band is Blackmore's Night. His guitar playing is extraordinary! One of my friends loves early Deep Purple, especially "Hush" and "Hey Joe". ---Cynthia, The Audio Belle
I agree, Richie’s acoustic guitar playing is mesmerizing. I use to listen to Fairport Convention with Richard Thompson and Sandy Denny a lot. Very medieval as well. My favorite song of theirs was “I’ll keep it with mine”.
Really interesting interview with a down to earth bloke , in the 70’s my gear was worth more than a second hand e type jag now it’s basic ....hi from Bluff New Zealand .
Hot n Salty, Nice to see someone from New Zealand on my channel! Glad you enjoyed the video! What gear did you have in the 70s and what gear do you have now? ---Cynthia, The Audio Belle
Huh. I saw you originally on the audiophiliacs channel may e a year ago? Just found you again through the part time audiophile site. Didn't know you were from Oklahoma. Me too! Rock on!
Wow,,,. you snag this guy. The best
Seems always a warm person
You're job is finnished
Herb is so wonderful as a character and just a human being. I love his art and opinions on HiFi and life in general. He really seems amazing.
Been a fan of Herb's since I built his Flesh & Blood 300B amp(s) and learned to love HUGE power supplies, huge reactors, and 6SN7 tubes.
Awesome, Herb is my favorite
That was a lot of fun. I've always admired Herb Reichert. He's sort of like The David Lynch of audio. Loving your channel too!
