- A wonderful repeat patron asked me to create two, tall, narrow pieces for her home. I power-carved a slab of walnut, then cut it in two.
For roughing, I used a Graff Speedcutter:

Thank you and welcome.
Good ideal for your base, where can I find good hardware parts like those foots ?
They are adjustable glides that I purchased at my local big-box hardware store.
Can you link the type of sanding disk you are using? I am looking for the best for wood and you are getting great results. Also the small disk sanding attachment for your grinder? Would be greatly appreciated. Your work is beautiful.
Never mind should have looked before asking lol
Thank you.
Great video love how it turned out.. what is the sanding attachment for the grinder called please. Thanks
Thanks for watching! I think the one you are talking about is the Arbortech Contour Sander.
@@CammiesGarage fantastic just looked it up amazing tool. Will purchase mine ASAP. Thanks for you help
Boysoboys, that's a transAtlantic cold - I've had it for the last month at least. In your chest, and completely tired out? Can't shake it off? Hoo boy... May I ask, how long does the carving procedure take once you have decided what to do? Thanks for sharing Cammie, your channel has definitely inspired me to try some carving this year.
Thanks, Mark. It took me a day to carve it, then several days to sand and finish it. Good luck with your carving!
@@CammiesGarage Much as I had thought - it's getting started is the hard part! Incidentally what was the little mushroom-shaped sanding tool for the angle-grinder. Thanks, in anticipation, for your indulgence.
