How does it work? How the windows can be more bright?

It is one piece of fabric that has two photographic imagers printed on it - a day version on one side and a night version on the other side. You control the brightness by how you light it. The SoftDrop is hung with the day side facing the camera,. When that side is lit - the camera sees daytime. When the front lights illuminating the day side are turned off, and the back lights come on, the night version appears - overpowering the day version - so that the camera sees nighttime.
