Thanks you. That’s cool. I plan to keep the car looking close to original on the outside, but more modern efi and drivetrain. Plus make some horsepower! Appreciate your comment.
Awesome build! I just recently bought a 64 Fairlane which is a dream car of mine. I'm very interested to see how your doing the suspension for the front and the structure. Mine has rotted stock stuff which i was going to do a mustang ll suspension but it's high $. I used to have a fox body so I'm very interested to see how you get the coil over setup in there. Any information you explain on the setup is much appreciated!! Your doing a killer job rock on bud!
Thank you. 64 Fairlane was a dream Car for me also. Such a good looking car! Aje suspension makes a k-member for early Fords. It’s setup to use foxbody steering rack, and front struts and spindles/brakes. I decided to do a mix of parts. So I just used there k-member with racecraft lower a-arms, strange foxbody coil over struts and maximum Motorsport adjustable cc plates. If your factory shock towers are rotted out you can replace them. I’ve seen people use aje aftermarket early mustang replacement towers. My next video will be on the front suspension.
@@foxbuilder heck yeah bud awesome. If you could do some part numbers for stuff at the end of your build that would be awesome! Your doing great work keep it up!! My shock towers are still good. The control arm braces that go forward are rotted on the passenger side on mine so I have to plate the frame. So I figured aftermarket suspension would be the way to go. When I seen you was doing foxbody parts I was interested in seeing how it turned out!
@@foxbuilder sweet I appreciate it, have you figured out which lower control arm your going to use? You mentioned different lengths. I'm new when it comes to suspension. And setting it up.
Love these videos Dan!
Thank Gus. Glad you like. Thanks for the support.

Nice Job bud! I helped a friend restore a 58 Fairlane, we have since sold it, but we kept it close to original- not a racer by any means lol

Nice job rebuilding those shock towers. That one side was definitely butchered.
Yes it was. Thank you. Appreciate it.

@@clutchkicker96glad your towers are solid. I will post part numbers at the end of my next video. After I install all the suspension. I appreciate it.

I’m going to be figuring that out soon. I am using racecraft Foxbody tubular lower a-arms.
