all these "magnifying glasses" are junk. They are single lens constructions with near to zero working distance. you can not wear them, work on an object (soldering, or turning a minature screw) while looking thru 1 of the lenses (stereo viewing is not possible). This is even more worse than holding a magnifying lens with one hand and working with another. A correct set of magnifying glasses would have to use a multilens construction as in a camera lens with a fixed working distance of a minimum of 20 or 30 cm or an adjustable focus so you can use them in a dynamic range of distance. Look for Dental spectacles and a price range of 40$ or more.

I ordered a pair, but mainly just for looks and for fun. but I may remove the magnifying lenses and just use the headband strap and the LED lights at night for searching for insects and stuff.

This magnifier for inspection and control only is not for the job in my opinion it is efficient and cheaper than a microscope
