The footage used is captured by myself during our stay in Domrémy-la-Pucelle on the Jeanne d'Arc pilgrimage I took part in, in 2012. The first view is from the backyard of Jeannette's home, and the latter from the road to the basilica of Domrémy, to which she used to walk up from the village every morning to attend mass when she was a child. So this is a bit of the milieu she saw around her as she grew up in the fields of Domrémy. I know my camera hand isn't the most stable in the world, but I hope the serenity of this wonderful music makes up for it.

Every time I have visited here I cry and cry.
I hear you. I have had the chance to visit there only once, but I just cried almost all the time that I was there.
Getting some real Hiraeth vibes watching this. For anyone who doesnt know Hiraeth is a Welsh word meaning a mixture of longing, yearning, nostalgia, wistfulness or an earnest of the past.

I can really give my warmest recommendations about them. They're a really lovely and trustworthy couple, and as they've organized the pilgrimage several times already, they really know what they're doing and know the lay of the land (they know many Jeanne d'Arc experts and other local personnel). The pilgrimage itself was a celestial experience... we stayed a lot in monasteries and everything was just great. God and His daughter Jehanne were truly present all the time :)

That God graced me with the chance to be there where my beloved friend Jeannette was too is something that I can only wonder and marvel at for the rest of my life. Domrémy's beauty is truly beyond this world... I would've wanted to stay there really. We had to leave eventually, but I left my heart there.
I'm from Finland actually, but this pilgrimage was organized by a couple living in the US (called Chris and Catherine, though Catherine has grown up in France originally).

When my soul craves for peace and tranquility I find comfort in watching your videos, devoted to Sainte Jehanne.
+Cheetah Skin The peace and serenity that I experienced at Domrémy-la-Pucelle was intensely overwhelming, deep and profound at such a level that it is difficult to describe or pass on. Yet it is that same peace, or at least a tiny bit of it, that I have attempted to capture in all these videos I have prepared in honouring Sainte Jehanne. I am glad to hear that my modest and humble efforts with these videos are able to contribute in bringing you peace and comfort. Thank you for sharing the thought with me. May beloved Sainte Jehanne be with you and guard you on your travels, and may she pray for Christ's peace to be over you.

Thank you Andreas for your kind reply. Indeed, I am grateful to God (and lucky) that I accidentally found your videos honoring St. Jehanne. Among many of them from other authors I watched on you tube, it is only yours that have been able to capture the genuine atmosphere of sanctity and intense feeling that persona of St. Jehanne is with me.

Beautiful. Are you trying to make us cry? Thank you! Do you consider yourself to be a "Child of the Tree"? Any BOIS D'ARC trees in the area? We have them in Texas USA. "Doe-Ray-Me Far Sew La [Pucelle] Tea Doe". Doe, a deer, a female deer ("Doe Fawn", Charles), Ray the TWIN that cuts my hair (Pages: Raymond and Louis). Me, a Maid, they call myself (Saints: Michael, Catherine, and Margaret). Far, a long long way to run (11 days ride to Chinon). Sew, a needle pulling thread (to make Jeanne's banner). La, a note to follow Sew (and precede Pucelle). Tea, a drink with jam and bread (just bread at Rouen). That will lead us back to: "Doe-Ray-Me Far Sew La [Pucelle] Tea Doe".

This is extremely beautiful, you're so lucky you get to experience this. Are you from the States? If so, how much did this trip cost? I want to visit Domrémy-la-Pucelle so bad (I'd be honored to visit Joan's house), but I'm guessing it's expensive. Did you get to go to Rouen and Orleans too?

Ana Briones Unfortunately not yet. I wish I'd be able to go there too some day. My mother has been there many times, however, and she has shared her experiences there with me a lot. It is from her that I've learned much about the Taizé community, their prayer chants etc. I participated in a Taizé weekend meeting which was organized here in Finland in 2012, however :)
Oh, then you still have this wonderful place waiting for you! Greet warmly your mother then, from another Taizéenne. It seems she was at least as marked by it as I was.

Yup, we also visited Rouen and Orléans during the pilgrimage, as well as several other places of Jeannette's life, like Vaucouleurs for instance. The pilgrimage attendance cost altogether was indeed rather expensive, but it was totally worth the money. As a matter of fact, C & C are going to organize another pilgrimage (they've done several already) in Jehanne's footsteps next year.

Oh, please do. I'm interested in joining, perhaps not for next's year Pilgrimage, since I currently don't have enough money for it, but I'll start saving money asap. I have faith that some day I'll be able to go and visit every single place Jehanne set a foot upon. I'll also check the website out for more information about the matter, I'm very grateful to you for providing this information.
