I've just ordered this as my first ever crawler plus the upgrades you've mentioned apart from the battery. I've ordered an uprated KS-3518 servo you've recommended in a different video too. I've got a few 7.2v stick packs so I'll stick with them for a bit. Can't wait to get tinkering and crawling! Thanks Kev 👍

Get an ecx temper gen2 for an entry crawler. It is surprising how good it is for what it is
Did you do anything with the pan hard bar? Seems to interfere with front axle reducing flex on mine.
I like the remo it is a very capable crawler.

See the gearbox? I bought both front and rear axles from those that make the upgrades and the front universals snap all the time,, very badly made and also having issue with the front axle binding up.
Cool video and feedback I just ordered two of these crawlers one for my 8yr old and one for my 12yr old boys. They love crawling with my modded Everest10 as well as my Gen8 so I think these Remo Hobby crawlers will be great for them and just hop them up lil by lil 👍
I just gift mine the other day. Great so far. I am curious as to finding the parts to make it rear star as well! Could you do this and link to all parts needed? Also do I need new radio. And can it be programmed for crab steer as well? Keep up the great videos!

Hey there..i have this truck and am gona put those tyres on it..but what specs do i need to look for for rims ? Are they 1:10 scale ..1.9 ..D90 ? Basicly can you tell me what specs i need to look for so they fit the hub etc ?? Thanks love the vids mate !

Oh Kev I know you’re 6x6 Hg 601 Needs a New Motor and From my Experience on mine I Found Out this SCX10 Gearbox Works Well as a Replacement it might need a cheap Driveshaft (as I can’t remember if the plastic ones reach or not? I changed mine to metal ones anyways cause my 6x6 is All Metal) but yea just an idea as the original can’t handle a lot of torque unless you upgrade it to metal like I have I just haven’t fitted it yet lol but it really does fit and line up nicely so I was suggesting this because you said you upgraded it and I thought maybe you kept the old Plastic one with the motor and everything all together and just letting you know it’ll fit nicely in you hg601 ok buddy? Let me know if you want me to post you some pictures of mine to see how well it goes Together if you want Kevin? Anyways Take Care Mate ✌️

I have one of these its kind of a pile of junk. 3 of the wheels shattered from just crawling, front bumper fell off. The plastic is super brittle. The electronics do weird things and stop working randomly on mine also.
Can you recommend drive shafts to replace the red plastic ones and also some better shocks? Banggood specials if possible to keep the costs down! Cheers

Its a great truck. After a year and a half playing with it i've actually have had few problems. BUT... I hate the two month wait sometimes for parts. Any one have parts for these on line? And specifically for the Remo?
I have seen videos where they just turned it into a scx10 I'm pretty sure you just get scx ten parts. Drop those in a magic mixie from Walmart add the remo hobby crawler, say the magic word and poof you got a remaxial scx1093st 🤔
