Yes! of course! In manual transmission, put your foot on the clutch to start and put your gear in neutral, while in auto trans, put the gear in park marked as "P"
+Asada023 Not all cars have that safety feature. Only certain cars require you to put your foot on the brake for automatics or the clutch if the car is manual to start it up. Almost all if not all new cars with push button start do have this safety feature though.
