You did just educate me about a true flipper being one that reads the same both ways
Some collectors consider the 8's and 1's as part of a flipper and the purists seem to only consider 0's 6's and 9's because the 1 and 8 look different when flipped
you’re right some collectors like it different ways it’s a different type of hobby, but I was always taught by old timer that those are the numbers for flippers, and I’ve never had a problem selling eights and one in the serial number
