Ill be real mate Bellingham did absolutely nothing for 94 minutes and is now MOTM for the goal. It was a good goal, but he should've been off in my opinion. There is a version of this game where Southgate isn't terrified to sub these guys where the game is decided in 60 minutes with England 2-1 up.
We deserve to be battered by a team and I can see it coming in this tournament. Whatever happens at this tournament Southgate must be sacked as these performances have been abysmal.
I rate Cole Palmer, I know people have been hyping him up, he had some not great crosses and stuff but I like how he’s willing to try to take someone on or cross rather than just pass it back I saw him do it for Chelsea sometimes too it feels like when the team is playing negative football he just refuses to. I would much rather players try to take risks to make something happen and fail sometimes than losing but everyone has 98% pass accuracy.
Agreed! I’ve been impressed with palmer so far when he’s played although some of the hype around has been a bit much this tournament. As a Chelsea fan I know how good he is, he just needs to be trusted by Southgate
The thing that annoyed me most in the whole game was when he subbed Toney on for 3 minutes ffs 😅 I was so mad what is he supposed to do with 3 minutes 😭 Watching Spain keep going after scoring made me jealous for sure.

Actually crazy that the Kane goal was Palmer corner (sub) -> Eze (sub) -> Toney Header (sub) -> Kane. He has to play some different players in the next game.
I feel like the way Kane plays now he needs a second striker, the he crosses the ball to nobody at least twice a game, he’s the one that should be on the end of it really.
Mixed feelings. Walker 👎🏻, only has recovery pace. Defensively he’s not good, always out of position and no game sense. Performance was pathetic but lucky we won. Have to step up for Switzerland. I disagree a loss was needed, Southgate will go regardless but end of the day we found a way to win.
