Collar is Edwardian, trouser waist is too low, synthetic fabric, cravat is hanging out over his waistcoat which never would have been done(Dickens is mostly pictured wearing bow ties, that were the height of fashion in 1860's) and the waistcoat is of modern post-Edwardian cut (notice the arrow points). The tailcoat also looks more modern, possibly based off of 30's coats, though the fact it also has three buttons suggests it's costume as it looks like they based this look on photos of Dickens from 1860 where he wears tailcoats with silk trim, but the wide lapel wasn't popular on cutaway coats in 1860. Also the fountain pen that they show was invented in 1884, 14 years after Dickens' death. They also talk about Barnardo opening a home for homeless children, he opened one for boys in Dec 1870, and Dickens died in June 1870, so would never have known about it. So there's some more historical inaccuracies for you. What hypocrisy!
