UUUUUHHH!!! at 40°C all bacteria have the most growing so you have the most bacteria if you wash at 30 and 40°C. 60°C is not enough to kill them. All bacteria are dead first at 73°C.

i also wash my underwear and towels especially kitchencloth on 95 and colors on 70.but shirts and tshirts i wash only on 30
Boil washes are good for kitchen linen eg tea towels, my school use 95* most washes and 60* for aprons.
when you say... I wash every week many 90 and 95°C washloads.

the problem is that no modern machine reachs and especially holds 60 degrees

Sorry Johnny but I've really got nothing to boil. I wash my bedding and towels on 60 and my bedding is so nice that I don't want to boil it.
true my old indesit when i put it on 60 it felt like 40
i defiantly think that 60 is enough if you stopped the washing machine and put your hand in it when its reached 60 it would almost burn you

never ever is 60°C enough, i work with bacteria in my job and i know that alöl. 60°C is hot for you but not enough for bacteria.
