Good video - tip - there is also a quick release clip to pop with a flat head screwdriver on the hydraulic to get it out of the way. I did mine from scratch with no wiring in the new trunk so I left the harness attached to the car and just fed the lock through the trunk, also swapped the center piece and lights at the same time. 👍

Did the color match perfectly? A tree fell on my trunk and put a huge dent. Luckily the only other thing it broke or even touched was my tail light. I have a 2014 red frs and I will probably buy a trunk off a crashed car but I need the shade of red to match.

2012 through 2014 have the same paint pallets, they changed in 2015.
What if I’m trying to remove the latch too the trunk I got doesn’t come with it so I need to swap it over

You could remove it, but it would leave some pretty ugly holes because it's bolted to the trunk lol
