This is a music mix of some of my favorite "night music."
The single static shot of the busy airport at night might let you recall when you had to take that "night owl flight" back home.
There is something about hanging around an airport late at night . . . who will you meet as you wait for your flight?

I love this. And I've spent a lot of time at this place over the last 20 years as I have flown back and forth to Vancouver. Every airport has its own ambiance, and you have captured this one very well.

When you visit an airport at night, you know the feeling. Just like waiting for the bus ride back home when it's after midnight. Brian Eno has captured this feeling. His album, "Music For Airports" says it all.

Ooh, Brian Eno, good call. You know, I once had to spend the night at O'Hare. It's even weirder when no one is there.

Great work Janet! Beautiful sounds and awseome footage. I've always thought airports really come to life at night. So lit up, which you don't really see during the day. I could watch this all night. Thanks for sharing.

I especially like how you've captured the movie title, Planes, trains and automobiles.

Oh, Wow! Funny! I really hate driving down to Seattle, but I _always_ love flying in at night! And Seattle, the "Emerald City" - so beautiful at night as well - it really does look like a giant Oz. Still, I soooo prefer to just hang out in my N. Cascade rainforest loggers shack! 🌲🍄🏞️ 😊
You did a lovely job, Ms. Craft, of capturing Sea-Tac's energy and cosmopolitan vibronics! I like this extended version - now it's definitely ambiance chill time in the PNW! Thanks!!! 😊

I picked the kind of music that might fit into this night scene.
I thought of the title as, "Music for Airports" but Brian Eno already beat me to it :)

Very therapeutic.😌 I think the flight attendance from Emirates airlines has some of the most stylish attire. I could imagine the ones from "J.Craft Airlines" would be wearing venetian mask. He he he!;)😄♡

The flight stewardess' at "J.Craft Airlines" feel there is no need to be wearing masks at all. Instead, they prefer to stick with the tradition of wearing short skirts and Go-Go boots.

@@janetcraft I used to fly for work. I hated it so much, but it was mostly being stuck in that tin can. The airport itself is actually very interesting. There is nothing quite like it. It never shuts down, you can always get the essentials somewhere - coffee, burger/fries. The smallest airport I've ever been to was in Oklahoma. It was a four gate airport. No restaurants, nothing there. Even then... There is a base level ambience to airports that is always present, regardless of the size.
I think my favorite airport is Orlando. It is big and open and it is split between the two branches of terminals so you can go back and forth to get access to different sets of shops and food places. The atmosphere in Florida makes big clouds so it's cool to look out the windows over the runways and see the clouds developing.

Reminds me of college days when we didn't have much money. We would do "dumb things" dates. Back then you could go to the gates and watch people deplane and depart. 9/11 wrecked things like this. Wonderful job, Miss Janet. BTW, I give up...I assume I'm looking for your spacecraft.

I remember my Father taking me to our local airport to watch the jet planes fly over the cars where we parked. There were lots of cars and family who did that. The planes would fly over us, one after another on a Sunday afternoon and made lots of noise! I was hooked! Loved it so much that I even checked out the libraries for books on planes and what countries they came from.
      About the "Janet Craft" plane.
It is a real real Boeing 737 that operates from next to the Las Vegas airport. There are about 5 of them along with a couple of Cessnas to boot. The planes have no name - their only name is "Janet Craft." They take people to and from places like Area 51 and other secret airport bases in certain parts of America. The airport is smaller and is fenced off. The plane is white with only a red stripe crossing from nose to tail and each one has a code number on its top fin. If you drive by the airport, you may not notice them or care to look twice - they are there - hiding in plain sight :)

Watching airports at night certainly has a different feeling compared to daytime flights that is usually much busier.
      I like it.
As far as having a light evening snack goes, I think I'll look around the airport terminal. I'm sure they have something nice with a relaxing atmosphere :)
