iluvpugstoo No No No, Donny has so much oomf in his gut when he sings, his soul literally is speaking through, Donny is a strong vessel that will tear you up something wild and put you back together with a forever changed conscience. Listening to Marvin and Stevie have a similar feel but Donny was a substance of a heavenly ethereal. Something holy, spiritual, that of Negro Spirituals and Old Traditional Gospel. All the messages of his lyrics appropriately convey the spirit within Donny as he sang. This was some soul wrenching and soul cleansing music. Donny was a messenger of God.
