Interesting. This isn’t a real apartment. It’s a soundstage. However, it is based on a real apartment in New York. They rebuilt it as a set for the film in Los Angeles.
I love that the audience gets to see him crouched in that corner while she has no idea he’s indeed listening and hearing every word she says. Makes the scene so much more powerful. I think they did an amazing job deciding when the audience could see him and when he was invisible to us also. It adds more depth and emotion to the entire film.
The upside was that he caught his killers and got sweet revenge. Loved that whole sequence of events because he learned the skills to out ghost the killers. I haven't watched Ghost since my father's passing. It was the last movie we watched together but I might just dig it back out and think of Pat and my dad up in heaven. Great movie!!
