Forza Motorsport vs The Crew - Long Beach Grand Prix Circuit

The Crew 1 and 2 take place on giant maps of the US, featuring not only well known cities like New York or Los Angeles but also some representations of real world race tracks. TC1 also included the famous Long Beach street circuit from the Indy car series. But how accurate is it? I recorded some final laps on it before the shutdown of TC1 to be able to do this comparison.

I downgraded the car to the lowest car level in The Crew but the lap time is still a lot faster there. For the direct comparison I slowed down the TC gameplay to match the length of the Forza gameplay in each section of the track, so that we can compare each individual corner and landmark.
The track can more or less be recreated in The Crew 2, although the two directions of the main road are not divided by a barrier anymore.
What are your thoughts on Long Beach in The Crew?

I legit like the ¿lo-fi? arcade versions of real tracks in The Crew to the point I wouldn't mind seeing a full game just like that. Semi-decent physics, great graphics... but the real tracks are wider and friendlier than IRL. It could be really interesting, really fun to play.
