Wish I'd know about these stories when I was working in the Antarctic. All we had was the traditional viewing of The Thing during South Pole movie nights - and I didn't even have that because I went during the summer season when it's light 24 hours a day and that doesn't count (it has to be during the full-time dark period in winter).
@@michaelhoffmann2891 lol that's how it is. What was your pay like if you don't mind me asking? Also even if the job duties were boring surely you had fun yeah? Or was it super lonely? Did u need a degree to get that job?
@@ManicDepressedSillyBilly the pay was decent but nothing to shout about. I was an IT security manager. but focused on the science programs, which was the best! I had to work with all the science programs and assess their IT security, so got to go out in the field with them and talk to them and advise them about securing their computers. the reason was actually because one of the major science programs got hacked, so the NSF (and the FBI!) got involved and so mitigation and prevention was suddenly the topic. I was there during summer, so lots of people around.

Thank you thank you thank you I can't thank you enough. Especially in this time we have to stay in the house your voice is very comforting and the stories you host are awesome
Great Stories! Your voice is soothing. Do you have control of the volume in the ads? My only complaint is sometimes the ads are so loud they jar me awake. Also a new Subscriber😊
Thanks, Jessica. I'm sorry, we don't have control over that unfortunately. Alternatively, you can also listen to our works free of charge and ad-free over on Bandcamp. There's a great app available, too: horrorbabble.bandcamp.com And thank you for subscribing!
@@scottnow1796 Yeah, listened to it again to see what I missed and still don’t get it. I understand there’s some profound logic to it but sometimes these horror stories take themselves too seriously.

The Realm of Pure Brain - Yes! 👍
Time to rest and listen to some stories.
Yay thank you!
How did the mastiff bark with no lungs or diaphragm/intercostal muscles?
Because SCIENCE!
Suspension of disbelief as wide as the Golden Gate, or Confederation Bridge.
Wait.. did I miss something? The first story in the beginning...She viewed him as a coward and terrible husband material because he got sick?
Yep, and he went back to the bitch too, lovesick I guess?
Even her severed head cant shut up! So much for the Silent Woman, hah!🙄
Sooooo… Warren’s NOT dead?
Geez I'm chilly
What did the "Earth Draws" mean...? I didn't understand that at all.
I have no idea either, totally lost that one!

Is that first story futurama?
Has anyone actually witnessed anyone gibbering? I mean what is it? How would one gibber if the mood took one?

watch the end of 'whistle and i'll come to you' - that's gibbering
Read comments in controversial UA-cam videos. So. Much. Gibbering.
You ever seen a homeless crack addict? They seem to be experts in the subject from my experience
I’ve heard gibberish. One is a verb and the other an adjective.

Mamoth hamburgers yum!
Good heavens. Is that what the UK and Europe imagine Americans sound like?
No we know it for a fact. We do have internet and tv here. 😉
