Very few series end well. The highest budget blockbusters can destroy an epic story in the last season and leave us disappointed to the point of hating the entire thing (game of thrones) Parenthood, though, is one of those rare gems that takes an incredible story and gives the closure it deserves with grace and dignity. I cant say enough good about this writing.
By the way, this is really beautifully done. I really enjoyed watching this. You captured the pivotal emotional moments without making the vid go on forever.
This is beautiful. My only complaint is you didn’t include when he asks Sarah, have I been a good father? And she responds you are the very best. Something along those lines. I wish I had told my dad that he was the best daddy a girl could have. Whoever said the last season was garbage, we were lucky to have that season. Parenthood was in the bubble after the 2nd season. We would have had no closure and this show deserved closure, we deserved closure. The final season had a lot of stuff to wrap up & they knew there wouldn’t be another. Adam Krause had already committed to another project & IIRC, he & Lauren Graham had broken up. We need a reunion, Brady Bunch style. It would be sad without Zeke but the closing montage with the time jump raised several questions.

That last episode was the worst as far as emotions go, but it was also the best because it was so well written.
The entire last season I was just trying to get through without Zeek dying, and then I thought I made it with like 5 minutes left, but NOPE.
I wish more people commented on this video.
