University of Surrey Twyford Court Band D / Stag Hill Campus Accommodation, full room tour + kitchen

- Welcome to my university room! In this video I give you a full accommodation tour of a Twyford Court Band D (ensuite) room. Twyford Court is located on Stag Hill Campus, one of the three accommodation campuses of the University of Surrey.
I show you everything there is to see and know about from the size of the wardrobe to the type of shower head to the big kitchen shared between 12 people!
I know that when I was getting ready to go to uni I wanted to know everything I could about where I would be living for the next year. Whether you’re coming to the University of Surrey and want to mentally prepare or are just curious about other uni accommodations I hope this video is useful and entertaining.

Hi Liana... really nice video. Just wanted to know your personal opnion about sharing kitchen.. is it comfortable and safe? since we need to share with other students..😀 and is it possible to keep our rice cooker inside omthe bedroom.. or it should be in the kitchen. Thank you liana
hey I’m glad you enjoyed it! I didn’t actually mind sharing a kitchen between so many people, as I said in the video we were never really all cooking at the same time so it wasn’t crowded. For safety reasons I don’t know if you’re actually allowed to keep a rice cooker in your room (it’s like not being allowed to have a kettle) but I know some people do which is understandable if you don’t want other people using it or it getting broken. I kept my smoothie maker in my room!🌸
@@fromlianawithlove4147 thank you liana, nice explanation...I'm actually planning to take Msc international tourism management next year at surrey... and if you don't mind, could you please make a video about how you do the laundry, honestly I've never used a washing machine in my life 🥹 might be better if you could add some explanation about your living expenses, from food, transportation, and how the students usually do to print out their tasks, ..and some other information that is related 😊😊 again thank you so much liana

Hello Liana, Sorry for this out of context question but if a student is opting for part time job, is it easy accessing through university accommodation or would be easier to commute.
It depends where you live currently and where your job would be. Stag Hill campus is around a 20-25 minute walk to town but there are frequent buses. The train station is about a 5-7 minute walk into town if you were taking the train into Guildford. A lot of people I know do have part time jobs so I don't think it would be a problem living on campus. Hope this helps!💮

Band A,B,C are in the campus - these are a 15 min walk away 👍
Hello Liana, I am an offer holder for a masters course from University of Surrey and I am seriouly considering to accept it. If I do, I certainly will apply for on campus accomodation(band D) but it seemed a little bit cramped to me. Any idea if there is larger rooms? Thx a lot.
hiya, although they might be the same band I have friends who are in different accommodation courts but have slightly larger rooms, for example millennium house. I’ve also heard that some of the band d rooms on Manor Park are bigger and more modern as they were more recently built. Honestly think it’s just a bit of luck. Hope this helps 😊

I believe so, I was actually in Block B so these are the rooms you’ll be in 😊
Hi I would like to ask you about laundry room how could clean your clothes?
I was planning on doing a laundry video in first year but I never got round to it😅 you need to get the circuit laundry app and there are 2 or 3 places on campus to wash and tumble dry your clothes xx

just found out i’ve been put in twyford b for accomodation! did you have a good overall experience there as i’ve seen lots of negatives about it!!
I really enjoyed it because they were quieter halls than some but I can understand why some people would think it’s more “boring” maybe
