Great video Kate! I live in Guildford, so I use the library when I am home from uni during the holidays. It could be an idea to make a few videos on Surrey facilities, e.g. library, shops, starbucks, campus tour etc!

Hi, I’ve got an offer back to study at University of Surrey and I’m probably going to make it my firm. I’ve heard surrey is quite an expensive place to live in so do you think you could make a video about the average monthly cost for a typical uni student at the university of Surrey? Also I’m looking to have a part time job during uni...would working 12 hours a week give me a good balance between my work and uni life? Thanks and amazing video btw! 🙌🏼
Hey Nav, lovely to hear that you are looking to join Surrey uni. I've enjoyed my time here a lot and I'm sure you will love it too, however the area is indeed quite pricey especially when it comes to properties. I would love to make a video talking about the average monthly cost for students here so make sure you hit that bell so you get notified when it's up! I was personally doing 16h a week and it was a bit of a struggle sometimes, but I think you'll be just fine if you stick to 12h. Make sure that your job offers flexible hours so you don't miss any lectures and can prepare for any midterms and coursework. I hope that helped and glad you enjoyed the video! 😊
