I love the major tip kind of strategy, it would be lovely to practice it with call and response afterwards with some simple jazz tunes in the same video.
Hi Nicola..... it's great to see you back posting videos again I was thinking about purchasing your CD with the scales on it are there a good number of blues scales to practice from on the CD? Keep up the great work Regards Craig.
It’s good to be back :). Not on that CD but I’m bringing out more soon which will be focused on jazz/blues scales, one for breath work, and one for improving scatting rhythms. I’ll let you know when they’re out. Jazz one will be coming first in about two weeks.
Hi Nicola, love your voice. Just wanted to let you know that you have a "period" at the end of your link which stops the page from opening. Keep making vid's! It's your calling! Cartoons are cute too.
@@Singerssecret Not in punk. Punk is _specifically_ the opposite of that. Not in a lot of Rock, specifically metal, not in the band Nirvana, (Kurt Cobain was specifically known for being hard to understand), nor in some kind of pop... If you're doing it on purpose, _or_ you sound good while doing it, it's fine. 🙂🙂🙂🙂 It depends on both style and personal taste.
You’ve been missed on this platform! Your guidance, instruction and insight has been invaluable! 😊
Thank you so much!! I missed you all too. Glad to be back. Xxx

You're so welcome! :)
But the sliding sounds much cooler. Staying completely on pitch sounds somewhat sterile
Sliding does sound cool when it’s deliberately done. :)
welcome back!
Great to be back!! 😊😊

Ooh thanks for letting me know. I’ll have to fix that. Much appreciated. Also you’re so lovely for checking out my cartoons!! Xxx
I feel like not articulating enough is kind of a trend in these days’ songs😂
Omg I totally agree!!!! Lol.
Great tips! 👍
Thanks!!
That articulation thing depends on the style you're going for.
I disagree. You need good articulation ALL the time. Nothing worse than not being able to hear the lyrics.
