Good evening, Equilibrium data can be got either experimentally if you have the facilities to do experimental tests, or you can find it in literature by searching in textbooks or papers. These calculations are primarily for tray columns. However, you can go to column internals and specify the column to be packed. Hope this answers your questions.
Mohammed Mohammed I am requested to do the calculations in excel for the packed column so can i proceed with this approach putting in mind the packing material type, size etc.

You can put the equation of the equilibrium data whatever the shape of the data is. If you know the equation, you do not need to do fitting.
