When you consider the time line of the sims franchise, it’s possible for Eleanors sister to be from the 1800s. She could’ve been born in the later part of the 1800s and she could technically be Eleanors older sister who died as a child since technically the sims 3 is like around the 1950’s in real world time, and the sims 2 is “modern day” 50 years AFTER the sims 3 as it was made in the 2000s. As for how the ghost is friends with a teen, since the teen is a friend of the family, perhaps he simply interacted with her ghost a ton? That’s my theory anyway
@@summerwatson3794 The SimGurus have said that only Sunset Valley, Twinbrook, and Riverview take place during Bella and Mortimer's childhood (Somewhere between the 50's and '75, since it takes place at least 25 years before Sims 1) Every other town takes place in various other places in time. It is possible Marabel was from the 1800s. Maybe her parents had her when they were young. Then they didn't have more children like Eleanor until they were near their elder stage. I have plenty of sims who were young adults when their youngest siblings were born. Some even had their own children before the birth of younger siblings. Maybe Marabel was born to young parents in the 1800s, then her sister was born decades after her death. So Eleanor although old is not as old as her sister. Marabel could be the oldest sibling. She has a relationship with her sister because well it is the sims 3 and living sims can befriend ghosts. My theory is Marabel was born and died long before her siblings were born.
Considering that Marabel is a prankster, my theory is that she wrote she was from the 1800s as a joke on her own epitaph but she didn't live in that time period 🤔

I would think that the Inkbeard family would be based on Blackbeard. Because "ink" is usually black, and seeing as how they stole wealth, like Blackbeard.
So here's some theories that randomly popped up in my head while watching: The Contrasting Aspirations, Careers, traits etc. (e. g. The father having the criminal aspiration and being in politics.) makes me think that the Goldbeards are not very smart. For example, If the teenager doesn't stand art while having a book relating to art makes me believe that she doesn't really know what that book is even about if you catch my drift. When I saw Davey I think he is supposed to be African just by looking at his appearance (Yes I know his skin isn't actually dark in the game but, Correct me if I'm wrong, every single ghost in the sims 3 has a certain colour scheme when Revived depending on their town, hence why I believe Davey's skin isn't his real/original colour) , his biography states he was a 'servant' leading me to believe he was an African Slave during the slave trade Era. 'Davey Moans' Is probably not even his real name as during the slave trade Slave owners would give African Slaves Western names once they were kidnapped and removed from their country. The 'No one heard his screams' part in his biography makes me think that the Goldbeards (Which I think would've consisted of different family members at the time of Davey's death.) ignored/forgot about him (Maybe or maybe not on purpose) when there was a fire, because of his race and the fact that he was a slave. That's all I got. Thanks for reading.
I sat there pausing and playing the part with the skeleton at 15:30, just to see what it said, and I'm definitely glad I did because it definitely made me giggle 😂
I have to argue the case that Marigold could have lived in the 1800s as it’s stated that Bridgeport was founded at “The turn of the century” and given that Bert alto is stated to have been on the run from either his brother or his clients and the fact that Nick alto is “New Money” in sunset valley leads me to believe that the game takes place in the 50s so if Barnacle bay takes place in the same point in time as Sunset valley etc. or before it’s not too far fetched to say that she lived in the 1890s also for the sake of the Caliente sisters being in said town let’s not forget its HEAVILY implied that they have access to time travel (given that don shouldn’t even be born yet because of his age in the sims 2) I submit that she could have lived in the 1800s (the fact that the gold beards bio states that their heritage is still fairly well known implies that barnacle bay is set earlier than Sunset valley in the timeline (early enough that Piracy is still fresh in people’s minds)
The name Davey Moans reminds me of Davy Jones, I dont know his story tho. Edit: I googled, and Davy Jones is a nickname that sailors used for the devil of the sea. Edit to the edit: Davy Jones's locker is the place, believed that sailors who die / drown at sea end up. Edit to the edit to the edit: I don't know what that has to do with Davey Moans.
@@GaiaRich it is very possible that he probably drowned Maribel (probably accidentally while playing together), so Eleanor, Maribel’s sister who heard his screams when he was on fire decided to take revenge and pretended she didn’t hear him. 🤔
The worst part about trying to make theories of the sims is that you don't know if the buildings are like that because of the lore or because EA don't know how to make buildings
What if the fire that got Davey was a distraction for the robbery? Also another suggestion, what if Minty didn't die with his sister? It says he's into tinkering, what if he created a time machine in an attempt to get his deceased sister back, but instead he died of electrocution and his remaining sister was thrown into the future, and had to rapidly adjust to modern life? The school boy being Marabel's friend could just be a psychic or lonely child that hung around in the graveyard a lot and she never actually met him in life.

My theory: The child Goldbeard Ghost was the eldest, and died of drowning in the late 1890s- let’s even say 1899 since that’s the latest year she can die and still be a ghost from the 1800s. Then let’s say next is Eleanor Goldbeard. We don’t see her parents so let’s say she’s the next born, later, different mother. Let’s say around 1915 or so. Still possible, father could even still be middle aged. And then the brother is born sometime after. Brother meets a ‘tragic accident’ in the 1960s. This world was released for Sims3 in 2010- so Eleanor could be an extremely old 95 years old and it works. Just requires some creativity with timing/parental relationships.

As soon as i heard Kidd having an Evil trait, and seeing unused child's bedroom, I thought: 100%, Kidd killed his cousin Marabel. But his family didn't want anyone to know about it, so they marked her grave as Eleanore sister, when in reality she probably was her nephew or something. That would explain how she knows other sims. And Kidd probably caused a fire, where Davy died. F#cking Lucius.
Mrs. Lore, I just wanted to warn you! I have recently noticed that I don't like any videos of UA-camrs that I am subscribed to, and I want to show my support where I can. That being said, you are about to get blown up with likes as I go back and like all of your videos that I forgot to like in the past 😁
I like this and judging by the bios we can also use that to help us. Pop music was first popularized in the UA in the 1970s with the rise of hip hop but Pop simply refers to Popular music. Everything from Elvis, to Jackson Five, or even The Beetles that we now know as oldies was Pop music back in their prime. It's possible the reason the family all share the same traits is because Eleanor wants to appeal to the public. Maintaining the illusion that they are a wealthy, modern family but I don't think time travel is the answer. I think a potion is though. In the sims medieval we know that there's a potion in the game that supposedly lets you live longer. A reference to the afamed holy grail and fountain of youth. We also know that potions exist in the sims. In the sims 4 you can craft ambrosia just with plants. I suspect that Eleanor did in fact kill her siblings but did so indirectly. Perhaps the Inkbeards kidnaapped her baby sister, she sees the opportunity and tells her brother to go save her playing with his morality a bit. Though behind the scenes she could've arranged it so that their parents either didn't know about this or simply paid the Inkbeards a portion of stolen money as a 'compromise' to keep them quiet. Allowing her to be the soul heir to the fortune and put on a false image that she was this poor woman. It's likely she may have even killed her parents since we never see them in game. Soon comes the servant boy. Maybe Davey was a bastard meaning he was born of a wealthy household member and a servent. Or simply Davey may have uncovered the truth so she silenced him with a house fire and used his health as an excuse to say that they simply thought he was having a coughing fit. something along those lines.
I think Marabel stole something from the family and someone killed her because of her behavior. It doesn't matter if she had a good relationship with any of them, i think her traits pretty much speak for themselves.

I don't think the timeline is all that mysterious? You have to remember that 1800's could literally mean 1899. And the while the Sims does not have a true place in time it's generally accepted that the different towns take place in different time periods (Sunset Valley being based in the 1950's for example) so if this town takes place in 1950 or 1960 it would make sense that a woman who is maybe 70 or 80 had a young sister who died in the 1800's
Marabel could’ve been born towards the end of the 1890’s, maybe say 1895-1897, that could fit in with the sims 3 timeline, no word about if she was Eleanor’s older sister or younger sister, so kinda getting a little spooky here: what if Eleanor was born after Marabel had already passed and became her BFF after her older sister’s demise?
I'm late to the game here, but I have a theory about Marabel. She, Minty, and Eleanor really were born in the 1800s. This would give Marabel and Minty plenty of time to accumulate enough happiness points to get a large gravestone. She and her siblings all benefited from an age reversal elixir. Perhaps they got into a witchy relative's stash when they were teens - (Marabel being a kleptomanic suggests she was the ringleader.) Minty probably was murdered since he was both handy and a workaholic. But it might have been that he was working very late on a dark and stormy night on the early version of the TV, was extremely tired, and didn't notice the roof was leaking and that a puddle was starting to form around the TV. Maybe Marabel was friends with Jonah Lai because they met at the graveyard after she was dead. SimsWiki indicates he is a troubled teen who is a vegetarian while his parents eat meat. His dad has the angler trait, but Jonah's bio states he hates fishing. His parents are also having another child, which he might not be happy about. Maybe Jonah hangs out in graveyards to avoid problems at home.

This is making me want to delve into any sim I can find again. I used to have a phase of reading sims 3 wikis and finding families spread across games. I also have a bunch of sims 3 worlds 👀 might do some investigation of my own
Welcome back🥲❤️ I've missed your videos for so long! Hope you are doing well🧡✨
Thank you! You too! 🧡
I’d be evil too if my parents named me Kidd
This episode is very dark and contains murder so tread lightly... So go grab your snacks and like this if you enjoyed it! XD funniest tonal whiplash ever
This is also interesting cause Nina and Dina are also in that town.. what if brought more problems for a new town...
Your editing is so funny 😭
Omg so happy for another video! I love your videos! Period. 🙏🙏
You're the best! 🧡
I always feel like playing sims 3 every time I watch these theory videos.
So the only dead sims had different favorites, maybe they killed them because they were not like the family? They didnt like blue, pop and steak?
omg i got so excited when i saw you posted!
Mrs. Lore, I just wanted to warn you! I have recently noticed that I don't like any videos of UA-camrs that I am subscribed to, and I want to show my support where I can. That being said, you are about to get blown up with likes as I go back and like all of your videos that I forgot to like in the past 😁
For a second or two, I read the title in the thumbnail as "What happened to these idiots??" And I was a little amused yet offended for them lol.
Missed your videos so much! 🥺❤
Wait! The floor in the entryway TRIGGERS me! Who made this?

Yea no that whole house is trash, I mean, It's just hideous.
hahaha ikr EA at it again
@@TheSimsLore It's reassuring to know Ea has always been crap at building houses since even the Sims 3
@@carolinemcgovern4488 you mean sims 1 - or were you spared being trapped on community lots?
Damn the Sims 3 really had no chill when it came to dark shit like this
Yesss love these videos! Look forward to these I’m excited
Awh thank you so much for watching!!! ❤️❤️
Great video! Keep up the amazing work
Yay you’re back! 🥰
I’m not even 5 mins in and I already love it
Wait wait wait, hold up... a purple bathtub? A purple... no. No, I don't like it.
I think Marabel stole something from the family and someone killed her because of her behavior. It doesn't matter if she had a good relationship with any of them, i think her traits pretty much speak for themselves.
God, i love this channel. One of the best things of my sundays ❤️
The Sims 2 and 3 have more pre-deceased Sims than in The Sims 4… where they have… 1. Fucking animals outnumber them.
Wait, who’s that one pre-deceased sim…? 🤔
@@siapayah9345 Felix Syded is the only one, in the University Expansion pack who was the founder of the Britechester University and he is a Sim in Manage Worlds who roams the University.
@@Krzyzaczeq I never heard of them but tbh, I don't use that pack very often
Maybe the goldbeards felt guilty about not responding to Davys cries since he is nicely buried
Ok ,i think I just found my new fav sims channel ! The calming voice and the long lore videos are perfect for playing in the background whilst gaming ! Thank you so much !
"including *murder*.... So go grab your snacks :D"
I love barnacle bay so much! I’ve played it in for so many hours
Your videos really make my day. Thank you!
Another great video of yours and I'm even early this time! :D
Yay, thank you! 🧡
O my GOOOOOOOOOD
IM WAITING SO LONG
💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
"Workaholic couch potato" I have never related to a sim as much in my entire life...
What if she was from the 1800s, but the LATE 1800s? Like 1890 or around that time?
Davy Moans is literally based on the wolf story which I always heard from my grandma in childhood
Cannot wait for another loreee
Hey since you like investigating on the sims you should make yourself as a sim on the sims 3 and make the sim of you an investigator
I just found your channel 😭 and im watching it all day...... i hope you post new video any time soon ❤️
Halloween 😏🎃
So sorry it took me so long to subscribe; I genuinely thought I had already as your videos appeared on my recommended videos so often that I just assumed. I love your videos so much and now I just feel guilty
I know im an hour late but still love your content Mrs. Lore
Thank you so much 🥰💗
@@TheSimsLore omg u actually noticed me im such a big fan 😊
Ooh never been this early, thank you for the inspiration imma go make a family that begins with crime to make their fortune
I'm here a week later with no snacks lol but I'm here😅😂😂
I feel as if, Marabel met Jonah when Jonah visited the graveyard when he was a kid and they just kept a friendship?
Oh, I really like the theory about the Goldbeards stealing from the Inkbeards and them holding Marabel hostage.
I love this
"Back when servants were still a thing"
Lmao wut? XD
I could've sworn I read something just like Davey's death in a book before 💀
I'm late to the game here, but I have a theory about Marabel.
Time travel could be possible as the caliente are in barnacle bay after pleasantview.
Child: Dad can I have MatPat?
Dad:we have MatPat at home 🏡🙄
MatPat at home:
A video on the Inkbeard Family could be really cool!
Kid looks like a little Eminem

Me: Oh shizz sounds like me
"Can't even stand her nephew"
Me:...... Is this a call out?
The theory according to which Eleonor has killed her sister is not plausible since they are best friends.
