I live in the UK for the last 10years and from India .Though I speak English your videos helping me a lot with my pronunciation. I do follow your masterly videos. In fact, I do make my children watch too... Really appreciate your efforts!
I think you mean, “in the past love does NOT have the /t/ sound” 😉 Remember, ‘Love’ ends in a voiced consonant /v/ so it becomes /lʌvd/ with a /d/. Verbs that end in an unvoiced consonant will take the /t/ sound. For example Kicked (kɪkt) smashed (smæʃt) and popped (pɒpt).
Smart Teacher. Love to learn from your videos. Hope to be mastered in correct pronunciation by learning from you James. Thanks for great efforts and be blessed.
James, I love the energy, dedication, enthusiasm and love that you put into each lesson. Your videos are sublime! I am learning a lot from them. Definitely, you deserve more than a coffee as you are the best teacher, I have ever seen. 🙌🏻🙏🙌🏻Much blessings, gratitude and light. 🙌🏻🙏🙌🏻

Good morning, Professor. Your explanation of the English language is very useful. You are a distinguished person. We hope for more, so that the benefit spreads to everyone.
I start to learn English since a month, and I realised when we want to learn a language we must to begin withe the correct pronunciation of the letter you make it very easy
Yes you are 100% correct. It's always a good idea to learn the sounds of a language first and then begin learning vocabulary and forming sentences. Keep up the good work!
Explanations about how to pronounce the letter D are very useful and helpful. Thanks for teaching silent letters not pronounced in a word. Many thanks for the informative lessons related to English pronunciation.

Thank you so much for this lesson, excellent as always! By the way, in the American accent, it is very common to change a /t/ to a fast /d/ or a flap t which is a /d / sound. Like water ( wa-der) but in the British accent uses a glottal t in the word “ water “
