TheUltimateNatural It's a game from the year 2000 meant for the PS1 but released on the PS2. If you were expecting Crysis graphics then you're deluded.
@@TheUltimateNatural Term "solid" has multiple meanings. If something is "solid" as if solid stone, it means "whole" or "firm" "Solid" can also be a term for a thing that is good, an expected perfomance. In this case, Fromsoft is expected to deliver quality content, so their content is solid.
This OST is the one of the most schizophrenic, mixed bags I've listened to in vidya. When it does stuff wrong it's a spectacularly disastrous auditory fever dream. But when it gets it right, you're rewarded with very atmospheric, haunting yet earthy tracks like this.
I believe every track is trying set a specific atmosphere in their own ways. Definitely highly insane and sporadic, but in a focused way of reaching the ethereal
"What the fuck is an evergrace?" I said to myself, when a friend on telegram sent me this track. Apparently, some of their friends adore this game and they were listening to some of the tracks. The moment I heard the music, I was like "You know, this feels awfully familiar..." And there it was. In the bottom right hand corner. Calling to me. "FROMSOFTWARE."

love how everyone's reaction to Evergrace's OST is either "this is an insult to art" or "this is a masterpiece"
