Saga Spirit of Adventure Mediterranean Cruise Episode 3

Episode 3 of the video blog of our Mediterranean Cruise with SAGA on board the ship Spirit of Adventure, March 2024.
This features a serene and beautiful extended video of the 'Sail Away' from Mahon. This is one of the most interesting of natural harbours - 5 Km long and 900 m wide. The sail away provides a good view of "L'illa del Rey" also known as "Hospital Island" where you can make out the ruins of the former Hospital. Then further out we pass "L'illa del Llatzeret" which was a place of quarantine in the nineteenth century and also up on the hill, a view of the fortress of "Castillo de San Felipe" which guards the entrance to the harbour. Another feature of this extended video is the sound of the ship's foghorn!
Also, I am indulging in a nostalgic walk through the ship from our cabin to our favourite place onboard - the living room. Finally I show you some of our favourite members of staff and say farewell to the ship.
