These type of slides are my favourite. They're so versatile, wild parts, slow parts. Parts where you have to pick a direction. And changes shape throughout the course.
Wish I could go on those. They aren’t overkill, seem a peaceful-ish speed, and overall just seem cool cuz I’m so used to seeing the overkill ones at every other waterpark.
Exactly, I'm 12 and I've pretty much never been on a legit "waterslide" (I did go on a mini waterslide at a hotel in Thailand which had a tube mat thingy with turns but it wasn't a proper big waterslide) I love waterslides, I keep talking about them but I never went on one, now I finally can and want to as I'm braver now.
@@lil.marzipan I have anxiety so I always overexxagerated how "scary" they were, but turns out tube slides and all that aren't bad at all so just now I have the thought of actually going on, it's not sad, I just didn't want to go on them when I was little because it seemed scary.
@@insertusernamehere8125 so you haven’t been on a ‘legit “water slide” ‘ cuz you where scared? I was saying the first part was sad, not the fact that you where scared of untranquil ones
Frankly, these Slides are underappreciated! I wish they were added in water parks found in other countries like the US, because they look like a lot of fun. If it *does* have something to do with safety concerns, nothing a height limit and a couple safety instructions can't handle.
I love these kind of slides. My absolute favourite typ of water slides. You can go on with a group of people, you usually dont have to wait and it often leads outside, what I totally love in the wintertime. You also dont have to go all the way upstairs.

I love your videos, especially these style wild river rides 😍 you are literally fulfilling what I dream of doing one day, so thanks for all you do 👍 I know if I was there, I would spend all day playing in the rides 🐬😁
It's a really unique sensation. I would say it's a combination between a lazy river and a body slide. The intensity depends from slide to slide, but it's usually more intense than your average body slide
Leuke video!

I'm jealous. I live in Scotland and there's no water parks anywhere. A pool might have a couple of flumes and a tiny lazy river. I'm only aware of 2 in the entire UK. Blackpools Sandcastle centre and Alton Towers and that's a great day too.
@@tuberides.official Still. Even ropes can hurt someone going down like that. Maybe it was the camera angle, but the camera nearly got caught by it. It only takes one person to sit up oddly and catch something on it. I still think it’s a bit of a hazard. But that’s just my opinion though.
I noticed that a lot of these slides have a seating area of sorts (11:36 as an example), and I'm wondering why they're there? Is it so you can meet up with your friend there, who took the same slide, and you can hang out and chat in them? Just an example of sorts?
As the water is usually quite warm, you can just sit there and relax which is great especially in winter. Some of these middle pools also give you the opportunity to leave or enter the ride so you can skip parts of the ride.
