I have to correct something you missed in the bite section. Mosasaur has a secondary inner top jaw. This jaw moved independently of it's primary jaws, and was used to shred prey while the primary jaws held the prey. If you look closely at the inner top mouth of INGEN's Mosa, you see it also has this second jaw. This makes the Mosa's jaws and biting strategy different. The meg will bite and back off, a hit and run tactic. Mosa will hang on for a bit, using it's inner jaw to shred any part it bites. This will most likely result in more blood loss, and potentially more debilitating damage. PS: Rewatching this, it's possible the mosa had Orca DNA, which would have drastically affected it's intelligence, allowing it to make smarter attack moves.
@@TRIOAntimations Then why the smaller sharks with much smaller teeth have no problem devouring the Meg in the 1st film let alone the Mo with much bigger teeth with much bigger bite area?
I play a game called Beasts of Bermuda, where you can be like, 20 different dinosaurs and the Mosasaurus is easily the biggest threat in the entire game. I remember walking along the beach with my herd, and a full sized Apatosaurus was grabbed and pulled back into the ocean by a mosa player. It was freaking insane.
Goji Center never disappoints with his battle face-offs can’t wait to see which prehistoric beast deserves to be crowned deadliest predator in the ocean!
My bet is the Meg is obviously that thing has a stronger bite force it can easily kill a mosasaurus with one bite no joke easy this it wouldn't be a fight the Megalodon killed the mosasaurus easily
I like how this channel takes the science far deeper than even the authors of the sci-fi creatures did. This video reminds me of the great white versus saltwater croc episode in the _Animals Face-off_ series, especially when _Mossasurus_ is also a reptile; the result & rationale are also similar. To me, both in real paleontology & this sci-fi scenario, the megalodon is undisputed victor with aforementioned reasons. That battle with the kraken in the movie alone is enough to tell the toughness of this creature!
Fish vs lizard, what a great way to kick off this fantastic series. I thought “40 minutes is a long time” but then I found myself so invested and here I am 40 mins later just so impressed
Fun fact- in real life there's actually evidence to suggest that some mosasaurs specialised in ramming attacks! The mosasaur Tylosaurus was found to have an increasingly large and robust bony protuberance on its upper snout as it aged; this protuberance would have helped tylosaurs ram their prey with increasing amounts of force as they grew larger- perfect for a specialist big game hunter, while Mosasaurus' crushing bite would have made it a generalist of both large vertebrates and ammonites.
@@truthfulguy3687 There is no loser in opportunities to ramble about science to random people on the internet, only winners because they watched a random video and scrolled down and now know random facts about real-life tylosaurs in addition to what they learned in the video.
I would like to point out 1 detail and that is that the Meg’s fins are a huge weak point, even more so than the mosa’s flippers because if it loses even 1 whether it’s a pectoral fin or the dorsal fin it’s dead due to the inability to balance its self. It would basically just be spiraling like a football as it swims forward until it dies. Many animals use this weakness to hunt and/or defend against modern sharks
Sharks have been repeatedly observed thriving even after having severely damaged pectoral, dorsal, and even caudal fins. Though the meg would likely have difficulty adapting to loss of a fin at first, it would likely not be enough to significantly throw it out of control. In this fight, had the shark really dedicated after landing the tail bite, it would have severed it completely, making the fight end much sooner.
@@Tidal_TerrorI’ve seen a great white swimming with half its Caudal fin missing megalodons are all much more bulcky and more durable a mosa would be able to damage it but most like;y unable to rip it off even some sharks seen with missing fins are swimming comfortably most of the time onky times they don’t is when making shark turn which the meg wouldn’t be able to if a meg did loose a fin it would still be able to swim just turn slower
@@HungrySharkGamerthesharkojira a broken cartilage right in the fin would greatly affect it's ability to swim, and that's no ordinary opponent's bite, it's a mosasaurus'. I have seen em injured sharks with damaged tail only drift away spiraling after a duel with a baraccuda.
I’d like to point out that if the mosa did stay around whales and communicate as you speculate then the whales would likely alert the mosa to the megs presence if not just put out distress signals. Which could give the mosa an advantage in either being prepared for an attack or set one up itself given its intelligence.
@@sussysussy1398 No, it's not unrealistic, it's completely scientific. Paleontologists use modern analogous animals to figure out how ancient animals looked like and behaved.

This epic face off was worth the wait. Congrats to the team for going so in-depth regarding the fight, from research to the scaling.. All was perfect. The simulation was a banger and so was the video as a whole. Cant wait for future face offs
It's an excellent choice to choose The Meg vs Ingen Mosa as the first episode of the Face off series! It is also a virtual confrontation between two marine predators that terrorized the sea in Earth's history, but I like the fact that they carefully analyzed the exaggerated descriptions in the movie in a duel that will cool down the hot summer. I look forward to the second match~!!
In my opinion, literally all of the monsters in the Monster Hunter franchise would be amazing in one of these videos. How would Deviljho handle against 2005 King Kong? Or how dangerous Dalamadur could be if it was real?
Monster Hunter is awesome, but it’s hard to match them with other creatures because they all have powers and are much stronger than their size indicates.
An interesting thing to consider in this fight that wasn't covered was the actual evidence surrounding megs actual hunting strategy. Evidence suggests they were ambush predators who commonly targeted whales bu charging from underneath straight up, resulting in it ramming them, severely breaking their bones and inflicting massive damage via their bite. This would have likely been a very good strategy against the mosa who would be unable to look below them.
The Meg probably would’ve ended the fight as soon as it began, due to its hunting strategy, but I assume the only reason why that didn’t happen was because the fight animation wouldn’t have been as entertaining.
@@thehale_that’s pretty much how this plays out in any of megalodon’s what ifs. Megalodon gets its opening ambush bite and everything ends right there, or it fails and is a sitting duck. The megalodon should have been finished with both the tail bite and the full bite. With one set of gills working, we’re ok. With the tail gimped, things don’t look great but we can live if we find easy prey. With BOTH? There’s only one set of gills left, and the injured tail can’t move the shark enough to feed that set of gills. Mosasaur just had to pull away and let the clock tick. In megalodon’s defense, the mosasaur would have lost the tail and died from the bite.
Yeah but like it's already been said in the comments a 20 second fight animation wouldn't be very entertaining, being realistic like you said the meg could have immediately ended the fight if it got the first ambush bite
@@Frotheru_The_Dragon oh this comment isn’t out of spite, I think Goji did an amazing job, even if the mosa lost, the fight is a single scenario, who knows, maybe in a parallel universe the mosa won?
@@Frotheru_The_Dragon yeah and the meg should've actually did because of higher detection range, stealth and speed but yes tbf it'll be boring if the fight was over literally 3 seconds just after it begins
Highly doubtful you'll get to see this message in this ocean of an amazing community you've built. Just let you know you guys are awesome and have definitely become my favorite channel. PERIOD. Crazy to see how much you've grown since 10 ways to die on Skull Island. Super excited for your future!!!
I feel like this battle would have been different because mosa isn’t a hit and runner, it has a second pair of jaws (like an eels) that it uses to bite and tear off chunks of flesh from its prey. While its main jaws are mainly used to hold and grasp onto prey, not deal quick bites. I feel like the mosa would have won at the point were it bit the gills because it would’ve used its second pair of jaws to start tearing away at the sharks gills, while the mosa would be able to hold onto and swim with the shark, while it bled out and possibly died due to the damage to its gills.
tbh ur right, but still due to the momentum and speed the shark's achieving, and due to the little grip strenhth there would be as the surface isn't that solid and rigid(near the shark's body), I'm pretty sure some gills may tear off, but with only moderate damage to the organs inside. And the shark would still mostly carry the same attack just like the video, but the outcome would've been changed by at least 40% My opinion
Realistically there's several points where the mosa should have died sooner, Megalodons had theoretically the strongest bite force of all time. That tail should have been severed, leaving the mosasaur to bleed out. Something like this could go either way, and real animals can't take nearly so many hits before they die. If you watch real footage of predators fighting each other, it's typically over very quickly for one side or the other.
40 mins of just pure awesomeness. The wait sure was worth it and definitely agreed with the outcome! Can't wait for Rodan vs Camazotz sometime down the line.
Another thing to note about Ingen’s Mosasaur. The creature’s tail is much longer proportionally than that of a M.hoffmanni, which would have made it a bigger target and might have effected it’s swimming speed.
This is something I've wondered and often thought of myself growing up almost 4 decades of prehistoric interest interest,I'm sure you guys will do the battle justice, thanks for rekindling the awe of these amazing creatures to an even bigger audience, you guys rock! Am super thrilled to see the way you analyse the battle,it will be epic
at last, back are the battle face offs, with a whole tournament this time! you've rly outdone yourself gojicenter. hope more episodes will be coming soon!
I can totally understand the analysis. And it is a great work of art. I love how goji center went over almost all the most important parts and made all understandable. But I must say that they forgot the Megs biggest weakness. It's tail. Sharks swim with their tail and that to at least 60%. So getting even injured in that area would mean certain doom to the shark. The mosa is going to target the tail since it is the thinnest part of the Meg which means that its vulnerability is much higher which will cost it its life. So it comes down to the first ambush of the Meg. But in all straight up battles the Mosa should actually win since it will disable its opponents movement. But that just comes from me. Still love the video.
Sharks can still operate without a tail dorsal fins is a different story loses of the tail would slow them down but if you mean the entire tail not just fine of it that would be almost impossible for mosasaur to chew if in battle let alone if the meg didn’t fight back
@@l4z3rgh0st3 I can agree but the speed loss would make it possible for the Mosa to stop the Meg and hold it down and the dorselfin is their way to manoeuvre so I agree that a wound to the dorselfin would be the end since the meg would not be able to turn anymore or if the meg could it would be very slowly. And the tail doesn't need to be severed it is enough to damage the muscles on one side since they are in a constant state of stress they would snap on one side since the other would pull much harder. That is a phenomenon that happens in animals with muscle's that are under constant use since they normally should never be damage to a certain degree. But it all comes down to the amount of damage that is done and how fast it happens.
Wrong sharks can not swimp without a tail and the pectoral fins, why do you think when the illegal shark fishers, cut off their tails they can no longer swim? The tail fin of a shark is its propulsion in the water, the pectorals are its stabilisations and the dorsal is its corrector( to remain swimming up right) @@l4z3rgh0st3
The major issue in your logic is that a Meg hunting a mosa would be some lame arena battle. Instead of a high speed from the depths ambush to the head to stun and disable the prey. This whole concept is silly but doesn't take in account actual hunting behaviors from similar evolved species
@@Siggrim it won't matter, these animals can hear as well if you look at the closest relative the komodo dragon. A fish the size of the Meg, more specifically the one from the movie will not be quiet as it approaches at these speeds, only if the mosasaurus was above the surface and minding its business, much like seals or marlins do then it makes sense. Point is the mosasaurus will here the incoming threat on the humongous ripples and bubbly sounds it will make as it approaches at top speed.

I thoroughly enjoyed every second of this battle; it was something else. Plus, I figured the Meg, with all of its advantages, would win. Nicely done, Gojicenter.
True, but if the Mosa didn’t break that jaw lock in the end, it could’ve killed both combatants. The Meg was hardly even swimming during that jaw lock, which could’ve caused it to drown if neither let go after some time. As for the Mosa’s death from it, I think those shark teeth are self-explanatory.

There is a monster that I have almost NEVER seen talked about at all, that I would love to see explored more in depth; The Kraken from 2010 Clash of the Titans. It looks like it would fit right in to the Monsterverse, and it was so disappointing how little screen-time it got and how little it actually did given how unique the design is.
This second row was actually accounted for while studying this fight. However this second row is too small to even make significant damage because 1. Teeth are too small and 2. They are too close to the roof of the mouth of the Mosa, the most damage they would have done is mere scratches and not nearly the amount of biting damage of the outer row. These were basically obsolete against the Meg since its too big and wide for these teeth to be useful
Hopefully, we can get a "The MEG vs The LEV" Battle FACEOFF Analysis video from Goji Center in the future, with "The LEV" referring to the Leviathan, a.k.a. Livyatan melvillei. Edit: Another great video, and knowing that there's more to come, I'm feeling really excited! I really love this kind of videos; they remind me of my childhood spent watching shows like Animal Faceoff and other random versus videos.
Megalodon would naturally win 1v1. Sharks that are solitary predators like the Great White, Tiger, etc. were always more designed for this than whale or dolphin species.
Rexy vs. JP3 spinosaurus . I think it would be an interesting battle considering what Rexy has experienced over the years and that she's probably the most combative out of all the Rexes we've seen.
@cry2368 Yeah, but we have yet to receive any concrete information as to the current whereabouts of the JP3 spinosaurus, and all we have are theories. Some suspect that spinosaurus we saw in camp cretaceous is the same one from JP3 but older, while some believe it was kept on Nublar and rescued then transported to the Biosyn sanctuary, which I believe may be true. All and all, I believe it would make an interesting video.

Despite the mosa’s intelligence it pulled some pretty stupid moves in this fight. It had already injured the meg’s tail. So that should’ve been it’s main focus. When it went in for the gills it should’ve targeted the fins instead as those are more obvious weak spots or go right back to the tail. But of all of its attacks the ram at that moment was the dumbest. The mosa could’ve won this fight if it targeted the more obvious weak spots first.
Yeah, you're right, since if that fight used the intelligence factor more, the Misa should have win by either biting repeatedly the Megs tail or it's fins or gills, like Dolphins. Anyways, that was a awesome fight
“It had already injured the Meg’s tail. So that should’ve been it’s main focus” I don’t think it’s easy to focus on a large thrashing tail, even if the mosa focused on it, it would’ve opened up a lot of weaknesses for the meg to exploit. One good bite from the meg is basically gameover. “When it went in for the gills it should’ve targeted the fins instead as those are more obvious weak spots or go right back to the tail” The mosa wouldn’t be able to hold on to the tail if it went for it, same reason why it let go of the gills (the reason it let go of the megs tail in the first place was explained in the video) Had the mosa went for the fin, it probably wouldn’t have worked either. The meg would probably just thrash around and the mosa would’ve let go just like the gills. “But of all of it attacks the ram at that moment was the dumbest” We have to remember that the mosa from JW hasn’t ever fought a large aquatic animal like the mosa. So it isn’t gonna be the smartest fighter. High Intelligence doesn’t necessarily give you a high battle IQ.
You guys really outdid yourself! I enjoyed every minute of this battle analysis. You guys deserve more appreciation, especially know that you guys even added an awesome battle animation like animal face-off back in the day.
I was most excited to see an actual battle unfold, and that it did, its so hard to find proper thrilling battles to the death between these amazing creatures, and this is a good one
I’m happy the Meg won but watching this analysis made me realize how badass the mosa really is!! I know the Meg novels do feature a mosasaurus but if this exact mosa was in the Meg movies it would have given Jonas and his team a run or in this case a swim for their money

What a nice video! I really enjoyed it a lot, btw the simulating animation was sick! I love this type of videos, talking about that, I'd love to see a Mothra vs. Male Muto battle annalysis, it would be nice, or Godzilla vs. Muto Prime annalysis. But anyways, the team did a nice job!
Epic voice, epic narration, epic battle, epic graphics..... I wanted that the Mosasaurius win... but still.... I am convinced about the result Keep going Goji Center
It would be a very close match, but I feel I disagree with the outcome. I think it all would boil down to how much damage the Meg would on its initial ambush attack. In this case, none since the Mosa detected it and was able to dodge. After this fail, I think the Meg would have lost its advantage. The Mosa would have chased it down , ramming at every opportunity. But all in all, very entertaining. I can't wait to watch it again with my son, as we have recently discussed this battle before.
You have to remember this is specifically the mosa that lived in a tank for it's entire life never facing anything in actual combat even after being let out to the wider world, while on the other hand the meg from the film was constantly fighting large creatures in similar sizes just for a meal
Also in case you forgot, the Mosa was the slower of the two. It wouldn't have the opportunities to ram at its leisure. Techniquely speaking, the Meg could have disengaged at any time due to its speed advantage, kept track of the Mosa with its smell over miles and miles and re-engage whenever it wanted. That's not so fun for a death battle video though which is why I assume they didnt go that route.
@@Psycho-go5yr it is yeah. if the mosa wasn't inGen's, but the real one, the speed difference may have let the mosa win the fight, but inGen's mosa is slower, by a fairly high amount, so it cant keep up, hence why the gill bite didn't do much of anything, the meg was gaining speed past the mosa's capabilities
This is a great channel guys, keep up the good work, I’ve been watching for ages now and it’s been great to see go from 250k to nearly a million and I’m definitely looking forward to your future vids!
Goji Center, you forgot that the biger Meg from the first film had his belly cut by a danofiquet part of the planetor (or whatever the name is in english) so the under belly of the Meg isn't that resistant either, and it cut that big experiment, so the smaller one should have that vulnerability too
It took a blade-like piece of the submersible to do that. Conical teeth would not be able to reproduce the same effect. The type of sub is called Manta(at least in the book).
That’s what I was thinking. Goji makes a point that the mosa had better lung capacity and intelligence I really don’t see why they had it makes SO MANY tactical mistakes especially after that beautiful opening counter. I honestly just think they were biased towards the Meg since the start because this fight animation made little to no sense after about the halfway mark. Between the mosa disengaging and leaving itself open in the process to chasing the Meg into deep water where it knows it doesn’t have the advantage, to charging the Meg straight on, to chasing into even deeper water, then somehow the mosa just loses all mobility even though it was supposed to have less vulnerability’s and higher agility. The fight should have been over after the initial tail bite on the Meg since that’s it’s only means of propulsion and also the bite on the lung absolutely should have sent it over the edge especially since it immediately went into the Mesopelagic zone where oxygen is far less concentrated than it is closer to the surface. Meaning that Meg absolutely would of not come back up. Not even mentioning the fact the Meg didn’t actually ever go that deep considering it hunted in coastal warm waters.
That's also the first thing that came to mind. The shark can't breath if it's not moving, so just by holding on to the tail (or really anywhere) for a few seconds should be enough to drown it. Realisticaly what I think would happen based on real life examples is: the shark gets initiative for detecting the mosa first, and has one chance to ambush it. It either hits and kills the mosa with a single bite to the belly, or it fails and has to retreat for a second chance, at which point the mosa gets the chance to retaliate and will most likely win. I guess the animation would be too short and/or not as interesting that way.
The Mosasaur didn’t let go, even after biting the weak spots the megalodon is to physically strong and fast for the mosa to latch on especially when it comes to the megs spherical body shape. And that first engagement the mosa thought to just ramming since biting wasn’t cutting it.
On the contrary, that bite to the megs tail could be a serious problem and might end the fight easily since those tails are more prone to breaking and could decrease much of it's speed and agility affecting it's manuevering performance as seen in modern day sharks that are being rammed, bitten and damaged by various opponents such as orcas. I saw footage of sharks barely swim straight after being attacked by a barracuda and then there's one where a gang of orcas repeatedly attacking a GWS tail affecting it's swim until it was finished off. Anyway, good fight. Team Mosa here no bias intended, just spotted a small hole that might change the outcome of the fight.✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼
Yeah. In real life most fights would be over in the first hit. Especially versus large prey both predators might main and follow. So whoever jumps the other first usually has a 80% chance of winning. That said looking at the "stats", I think meg would get the jump first most the time.
To be fair it was already shown that the meg has a larger detection range and speed and it also has camouflage, it could've bit the mosa from below ending the fight instantly after all the Meg came from deep sea it wouldn't be weird if it bit the mosa from under its body but you gotta make the fight longer to make an enjoyable animated simulation
@@exitium4929 mosa is also camouflaged (brighter color on bottom, darker on top, as seen with pretty much all sea life, bringhter colors on the bottom help it blend in to the bright surface because of the sun scattering rays through the water)
@@TRIOAntimations And you're probably not considering the Mo is a family of lizard perhaps a marine reptile, a close relative to modern day monitor lizard which can break of it's tail so they can escape any potentially dangerous attacks instead of fighting which most lizards does that especially against much bigger threats. In other case, shark's tail are prone to damage even when it get nibbled by other fish I.E barracudas, groupers and Orcas which does affects their ability to escape or to defend themselves for periods of time. Been an angler for over a decade now and have witnessed a shark got injured when it's tail got entangled and broken by a fishing line.

I really like your videos and I admire your work a lot, even though I don't speak English I can understand your videos because they are very well explained.
This was the best video i've ever seen in Goji Center Im very impressed with the animation quality of this as most fan-made animations are weird and unsatisfying to watch, as for the outcome of this battle, i think it makes a lot of sense, The Meg's bite force was just too powerful and it was able to tear and crunch through the mosasaur's belly, leading to death. The Mosasaur had a slimmer body but that meant that it might be faster but it would have less brute force and armor, the Meg has tons of flesh packed into it's bulky body, giving it quite a bit more durability and power than the Mosasaur, i think that the Mosasaur would have a hard time biting the Meg on the body and thats why it tried to target it's tail, the Meg's body is just too big for the Mosasaur to use it's full bite potential as it's mouth cannot open wide enough to put the Meg's body in between it and bite down. The Mosasaur actually had an advantage at the start of the fight, it could have continued it's agile and hit-run style attacks instead of following the Meg into deeper water where the Meg would get the upper hand, they also both made foolish moves by not facing towards their enemy at all times, resulting in more hits. it's also worth noting that when the 2 charged at each other, the Mosasaur probably has enough Intelligence to know that it was NOT going to damage the Meg a lot, it had a smaller snout and head, making it easier to be bitten and the Meg probably had more momentum, and it was lucky that the Mosasaur did not get dazed or stunned by that charge, the bite also probably would have caused severe brain damage to the Mosasaur if the Meg bit any further, resulting in an instant death. One thing that I would have thought i would see is the Mosasaur using it's tail more, such as in instances like 35:32 and 35:38, where the tail whip seemed to have dazed the megalodon if only by a couple seconds, it could have dodged to the side and used it's tail to hit the meg more, and it might give it more chance at winning. But besides that, I totally agree with the outcome, the Mosasaur just wasn't built for 1v1ing prey the same size as itself as it did not have excatly a strong bite force and the Meg outclassed it's armor.
dont forget mosa has secendery row of theeth its close to 50/50 and mosa is more agile so it could bite of the meg gills so mosa wins even tho its very close and could go ethire way sorry for my spelling mistakes i dont speek english alot
Plus sharks can't smell for miles at most times like my fav fish UA-camr AVNJ explained it depends on the currents, currents can carry from long distances to where sharks can smell them but sharks alone cannot sniff something out for miles.
That depends if it is smart enough to find that weakness and strong enough to flip it over. If they used any velociraptor DNA on it might be smart enough. However it might not be strong enough to flip the Meg. Note that orcas are bigger than great whites to flip it over and normally they group attack. However here the Meg holds the weight advantage.
I’m rooting for the mosasaurus and I’ve never seen the meg, but if it’s bite force is anything like a real megalodon, than the mosa is probably screwed
Most fights like this come down to which one gets the first bite in. Most 'monster duel' content creators ignore this. Hollywood too, now that I think about it. The infamous Spino vs Rex fight in JP3 for instance should've ended the second Rex got her teeth around Spino's neck. Instead, the fight proceeded past that into the bizarre decision to have Spino win by a _hollywood neck snap_ for some reason.
I feel like it's important to note that despite the mosa having less combat experience against large aquatic creatures they probably have a lot of experience against humans and boats as its shown attacking fishing boats for food
@@TRIOAntimations the mosa having less experience against something big means its gonna need to be alot more cautious but is likely terrified and doesnt know what to do
@@TRIOAntimationshis point is the shark already knows how to deal with big foes like this while the lizard has no clue what to do making it unlikely to take risks or do things that it thinks will work only to unfortunately find out the hard way what will and won't work

PS: Rewatching this, it's possible the mosa had Orca DNA, which would have drastically affected it's intelligence, allowing it to make smarter attack moves.
Those teeth are too small to do any damage due to he curvature of the roof of their mouth
Not really. That tail bite would have been affected.
@@TRIOAntimations Then why the smaller sharks with much smaller teeth have no problem devouring the Meg in the 1st film let alone the Mo with much bigger teeth with much bigger bite area?

Bro I just noticed it was 40 mins bro 💀💀💀
Eeyup.

@@Tidal_Terror Severing the tail is highly unlikely.
@@SpyXynt megs were known for biting entire whales clean in half. I don't think a lizard tail would be very difficult.
Goji Center, you never fail to make my day a whole lot better
I’d like to point out that if the mosa did stay around whales and communicate as you speculate then the whales would likely alert the mosa to the megs presence if not just put out distress signals. Which could give the mosa an advantage in either being prepared for an attack or set one up itself given its intelligence.
If your talking about prehistoric whales like basilo which are closer in time to mosa than todays whales they kill mosa on sight

And the shark would still mostly carry the same attack just like the video, but the outcome would've been changed by at least 40%
My opinion
The shark should have drowned when the mosa pulled and held the meg in place
Realistically there's several points where the mosa should have died sooner, Megalodons had theoretically the strongest bite force of all time. That tail should have been severed, leaving the mosasaur to bleed out. Something like this could go either way, and real animals can't take nearly so many hits before they die. If you watch real footage of predators fighting each other, it's typically over very quickly for one side or the other.
it would have to be a prolonged period of time about 2 or 3 minutes
Meg still would win
40 mins of just pure awesomeness. The wait sure was worth it and definitely agreed with the outcome!
Can't wait for Rodan vs Camazotz sometime down the line.
Another thing to note about Ingen’s Mosasaur. The creature’s tail is much longer proportionally than that of a M.hoffmanni, which would have made it a bigger target and might have effected it’s swimming speed.

The tail fin of a shark is its propulsion in the water, the pectorals are its stabilisations and the dorsal is its corrector( to remain swimming up right)
@@l4z3rgh0st3

This is basically Goji center's version of Death battle at this point
Interesting that they did not mention the second set of jaws, and hinged lower jaw that Mosasaurs in general are pretty well known for.

@@paulvlahovic326 the meg should’ve won faster just by its bite alone, one bite to the tail or midsection and it’s over

@@mucusman7511 it most likely would’ve rammed the mosa or swam up from below but you’re right about that though
“It had already injured the Meg’s tail. So that should’ve been it’s main focus”
I don’t think it’s easy to focus on a large thrashing tail, even if the mosa focused on it, it would’ve opened up a lot of weaknesses for the meg to exploit. One good bite from the meg is basically gameover.
“When it went in for the gills it should’ve targeted the fins instead as those are more obvious weak spots or go right back to the tail”
The mosa wouldn’t be able to hold on to the tail if it went for it, same reason why it let go of the gills (the reason it let go of the megs tail in the first place was explained in the video)
Had the mosa went for the fin, it probably wouldn’t have worked either. The meg would probably just thrash around and the mosa would’ve let go just like the gills.
“But of all of it attacks the ram at that moment was the dumbest”
We have to remember that the mosa from JW hasn’t ever fought a large aquatic animal like the mosa. So it isn’t gonna be the smartest fighter.

I am so hyped for the return of face off videos.
Anyway, The Meg would have won
Also it bite meg's tail which would also make it less agile..
@@Psycho-go5yr it is yeah. if the mosa wasn't inGen's, but the real one, the speed difference may have let the mosa win the fight, but inGen's mosa is slower, by a fairly high amount, so it cant keep up, hence why the gill bite didn't do much of anything, the meg was gaining speed past the mosa's capabilities
keep up the good work 👍👌🙂

This deserves millions of views❤❤
It already has now
She wouldve won if she didnt keep LETTING GO after scoring extremely important bites
Yeah
@@soulslayers2679ngl, in this fight i'll accept any winner, since the fight is a toss up really and almost impossible to decide who would truly win
The Mosasaur didn’t let go, even after biting the weak spots the megalodon is to physically strong and fast for the mosa to latch on especially when it comes to the megs spherical body shape. And that first engagement the mosa thought to just ramming since biting wasn’t cutting it.
the fight at the end was awesome!! 🦈🦖
You’re not considering the opposite of the Meg bit the mosa tail. The mosa it fucked
That was an awesome and badass sea monster fight. And i cant wait to see more future fights.
Here's a suggestion for a future episode: Xenomorph (Alien) vs Indo-Raptor (Jurassic World)
I really like your videos and I admire your work a lot, even though I don't speak English I can understand your videos because they are very well explained.
This was the best video i've ever seen in Goji Center
Im very impressed with the animation quality of this as most fan-made animations are weird and unsatisfying to watch, as for the outcome of this battle, i think it makes a lot of sense, The Meg's bite force was just too powerful and it was able to tear and crunch through the mosasaur's belly, leading to death.
WOW THIS IS SICK!!😎✨
I like it!🛐
This looks and feels a lot more organized than all of the other face off videos you’ve done before.
There's one weakness you didn't mention that has been seen in nearly all sharks. When they turn upside down they become litterally paralyzed.
Plus sharks can't smell for miles at most times like my fav fish UA-camr AVNJ explained it depends on the currents, currents can carry from long distances to where sharks can smell them but sharks alone cannot sniff something out for miles.
TBF, so far, only humans and orcas have figured that out, so I doubt the mosa could use this to her advantage.
@@BloodyVoyager well it could if it had actually mosa intelligence which was established it had more than.
Mosa can’t flip it though
I’m rooting for the mosasaurus and I’ve never seen the meg, but if it’s bite force is anything like a real megalodon, than the mosa is probably screwed
Yeah but it is jurrasic world mosa so probably has a decent size advantage
Speed and stealth is also way too much in the megs favor
the has has the strongest bite force human history knows of braahhh
Most fights like this come down to which one gets the first bite in. Most 'monster duel' content creators ignore this. Hollywood too, now that I think about it.
The infamous Spino vs Rex fight in JP3 for instance should've ended the second Rex got her teeth around Spino's neck. Instead, the fight proceeded past that into the bizarre decision to have Spino win by a _hollywood neck snap_ for some reason.
The mosa is longer but the meg is more heavy
I feel like it's important to note that despite the mosa having less combat experience against large aquatic creatures they probably have a lot of experience against humans and boats as its shown attacking fishing boats for food
Your point is?
@@TRIOAntimations the mosa having less experience against something big means its gonna need to be alot more cautious but is likely terrified and doesnt know what to do
I’m team Meg I just didn’t understand his point
@@TRIOAntimationshis point is the shark already knows how to deal with big foes like this while the lizard has no clue what to do making it unlikely to take risks or do things that it thinks will work only to unfortunately find out the hard way what will and won't work
@@potatoexe5410 I was told he just worded weird
That fight was great. Can’t wait for the next one.
This is so entertaining and scientific at the same time. Love your videos!!!
